Why You Might Need to Change Your LA Disneyland Park Ticket
Like many, I initially thought a 1-day, 1-park ticket would be perfectly fine. But soon enough, I found myself wanting to experience both Disneyland Park AND Disney California Adventure. Especially if you want to hit popular attractions and catch the evening fireworks all in one day, a Park Hopper ticket is absolutely essential. The best part? The two parks are only about a 5-minute walk from each other, making transfers super easy and stress-free.
How to Change Your Ticket (1-Park to Park Hopper)
1. Select the Menu (☰) at the bottom of the app → Choose My Disneyland & Passes

2. Click 'Change Ticket'

Upgrade Payment Amount
As of August 2026, the upgrade is approximately ~$65 per person.
You'll only need to pay the difference between your original ticket and the Park Hopper. You can use a credit card or any saved payment method.
(Keep in mind exchange rates if paying with an international card.)
Confirming Your Change & Important Notes
You can confirm your ticket change both via email and within the app.
Your QR code and reservation date will remain the same; only the ticket option will switch to Park Hopper.
