My Sapporo Experience with My Parents

This time, I took my parents on a trip to Sapporo.
Using the Airporter service at New Chitose Airport
was an absolute game-changer.

After arriving at New Chitose Airport, our itinerary was to head straight to
Otaru, not downtown Sapporo.
Thinking about lugging our suitcases onto the train felt daunting,
so I booked Airporter.

At the counter on the left side of the International Arrivals Hall,
I showed the receipt I received after paying the day before,
and the check-in was complete in just 1 minute, with no need to queue!

After booking the Airporter service, you can
register a photo of your suitcase via email, which reduces the risk of loss.
Plus, I felt truly reassured as I received emails
every time my luggage departed and arrived.

When we arrived at our Sapporo hotel late in the evening and checked in,
I just mentioned "Airporter...",
and the staff member confirmed the receipt and brought out our luggage.

Thanks to this, we were able to go directly from the airport to Otaru,
saving about 2 to 3 hours of travel time.
Most importantly, my parents could travel comfortably without heavy luggage,
which was the best part as it saved their energy.

For the cost of a ramen and a draft beer, you can transform the quality of your trip.
