My Experience
I actually had the pleasure of enjoying In-N-Out twice during my trip.
First Experience: Takeout Picnic at UCLA Campus
I ordered a Double-Double Animal Style, Animal Style Fries, and a Coke. While still good, I found that the flavors weren't quite as vibrant after sitting for a bit.
Second Experience: Freshly Eaten in the Restaurant
The freshly cooked burger was definitely different! The patty and cheese were rich and satisfying, perfectly balanced by the crisp, fresh vegetables. The fries, especially, were delightfully simple and savory.
I highly recommend ordering both the regular fries and the Animal Style Fries to share – it was a much more satisfying experience that way.
A little tip: you can even ask them to cut your burger in half, which is great if you're sharing or want to try a few different options!
