Ije Namhae (Private Bath, Dinner, and Swimming Pool)

The final stop of our Namhae trip...

A place I highly recommend: Ije Namhae!

The reason I'm writing this recommendation

is because everything—from the private bath and pool to the dinner—was absolutely perfect.

Unique and incredibly memorable, that's Ije Namhae.

Even the pool we saw during check-in left a huge impression.

It actually gave me slight Chiang Mai vibes?!

The dining area ~

Where we had both dinner and breakfast haha

The check-in area was styled beautifully like a boutique gift shop,

where they had us do a quick "stress test" (?) to select a personalized scent.

They gifted us the matching aroma oil, making for a super unique welcome gift.

Our room was a cozy loft style.

The sunlight poured in beautifully, and they even provided

comfy lounge clothes to wear, which reminded me a bit of Seolhaeone resort.

We didn't end up watching it haha, but there's a huge TV too

and even adorable slippers... 🖤

Heading up to the second floor,

the terrace was pretty simple.

But there were incense and scent items right by the bedside!

The robes were so cute I had to take a picture haha

We headed out determined to swim both during the day and at night,

and the pool was way cooler than we expected.

Since the private bath requires a reservation,

we decided to splash around in the pool until our slot opened up.

1. Recommended Namhae Stay: Ije Namhae, The Swimming Pool

The pool looked exactly like the photos!

I hadn't searched it beforehand because I didn't know we'd end up here,

which made the surprise even sweeter.

Day swimming was great, but night swimming was on another level.

The lights turned on and made it look so beautiful!!

2. Ije Namhae, The Private Bath

Wow.

We entered our reserved private bath around 6 PM,

and I had no idea it would be this amazing.

haha They said we could use it for 40 minutes,

but time literally flew by. It went way too fast!

It was absolutely heavenly...

It was pure, unadulterated healing.

I can't believe we got to use this entire space to ourselves!

Since all the rooms are completely separate, we could enjoy them with absolute freedom.

The water temperature was perfectly warm, leaving us feeling wonderfully cozy and relaxed.

I'd recommend this Namhae stay just for this experience alone.

They even had things like scented candles...

Though of course, I didn't actually drink any of the tea ^^

It seems the concept here is all about travelers finding quiet, peaceful rest.

3. Namhae Accommodation: Night Swim at IJE Namhae

And so, the night swim began.

But seriously... isn't the pool at night just stunning?!

There was absolutely no one else, so we had the entire place to ourselves.

Once we finished splashing around and having fun,

we slipped into these cute clothes and headed to dinner since we were starving.

We went down right at 7:30 PM, and there was only one other couple in the dining room.

4. IJE Namhae: Dinner

I'd heard the dinner here was amazing, but...

it was truly legendary.

It was Kansai-style sukiyaki,

and this is how it was served first lol

From vegetable sticks to braised toothfish, beef tartare (yukhoe), sushi, dessert, and more!

The tempura was incredibly crispy and delicious,

and even the dishes I wouldn't normally go for

were all so, so delicious.

The only slight disappointment was...

there were so many empty tables;;

yet they sat the only two couples right next to each other, which was a bit of a bummer.

The table next to us was quite loud,

and it would have been nicer to enjoy our meal in a more relaxed, private atmosphere.

Maybe it was for the ease of service,

but since there were so many open spots, being seated right next to each other was a bit of a letdown ㅠㅠ

But the food itself was absolutely spectacular.

Sizzle, sizzle...

I thought it might be too salty, but the seasoning was absolutely spot on.

I didn't expect it, but our taste buds were thoroughly pampered that day.

The sukiyaki wasn't salty at all and tasted incredible.

I want to go back just to eat this again. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Wrapping it up with a delicious dessert made it perfect!!

And finally, wrapping up the perfect day with a soak in the private open-air bath right in our room 🌟🌟

Snapping a few last-minute photos of JAE Namhae in the morning, already wishing we could stay longer.

We casually PAS...S...ed on the breakfast abalone porridge to get a bit more sleep.

An absolutely flawless experience from start to finish.

After checking out, we set off to get some local yuzu castella cake!

Out of all the places we stayed during our 3-night trip, this was definitely the most unique and unforgettable.
