Given the sheer size of this incredible theme park, many visitors find themselves wanting more than just a day to explore, making an overnight stay a popular choice.
Today, I'm excited to introduce you to one of Huis Ten Bosch's official hotels: the **Forest Villa**.
Initially, I was a bit hesitant about booking an on-site theme park accommodation, worrying it might be overpriced or underwhelming.
However, my recent stay at the Huis Ten Bosch official hotel, Forest Villa, completely exceeded my expectations.

1. Hotel Shuttle Bus & Luggage Service
If you've booked an official hotel within Huis Ten Bosch, the first thing you'll want to find is the hotel luggage service counter.
It's that orange-roofed building easily visible near the entrance parking lot.
This service is exclusively for guests staying at Hotel Europe, Hotel Amsterdam, Hotel Den Haag, and Forest Villa.
Once you drop off your bags here, you have two main options for getting around:
1. Head Straight to the Park: Drop off your luggage and go directly into Huis Ten Bosch to start your fun (your luggage will be delivered to your hotel room).
2. Take the Shuttle to Your Hotel: Catch the hotel shuttle bus from in front of the counter to go straight to your accommodation.
Keep in mind that the hotel shuttle bus departure times vary between weekdays and weekends, so be sure to check the schedule in the photo above...⭐️
I initially planned to just drop off my bags and enter the park, but since the shuttle was about to leave, I decided to head to the hotel first.
Taking the brown shuttle bus from the counter was incredibly convenient, as it dropped me off right at the check-in front desk entrance.

After checking in and receiving my breakfast coupons and room key, the front desk staff even drove me directly to my villa. Talk about service!
My satisfaction with the service was top-notch right from the start!
2. Private Cottages Perfect for Families
Every room at Forest Villa is a charming, two-story private cottage.
The villas are nestled along a tranquil lake, creating the feeling of being in a peaceful, upscale European townhouse village with fresh, clean air.
The complex is quite expansive, so I highly recommend snapping a photo of the room location map they provide at check-in! Haha.

3. Inside Forest Villa: Layout & Amenities
Step inside, and on the first floor, you'll find a comfortable living room and a restroom.
The view from here? A picturesque lake view, of course!
The villa is also equipped with essentials like a refrigerator, TV, and safe.
What I initially thought was a living room closet actually revealed a delightful mini-kitchen!
It was a cozy spot, perfect for enjoying simple snacks or gathering with travel companions on the sofa for a beer in the evening.
The first-floor restroom is cleverly separated into a bathroom and a toilet room, which was a thoughtful touch, ensuring multiple guests could use the facilities without feeling crowded.
Ascending to the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms, situated on either side of a central restroom.
Each bedroom features two beds, making it an ideal accommodation for family trips or groups of friends.
A feature I particularly loved was that each second-floor room has its own separate sink!
This was incredibly convenient in the mornings, saving us from having to go up and down to the first floor. And the bonus? The postcard-perfect lake view right outside the window ♥️

After dropping off your luggage, you can take the hotel shuttle bus to the front desk. After check-in, the front desk will arrange a car to take you directly to your villa.
All rooms at Forest Villa are two-story detached units. The first floor features a living room with a lake view, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. The second floor has two bedrooms, each with two beds, and each room is equipped with its own washbasin.
Guests staying at Forest Villa receive luggage storage service during check-in/check-out, a complimentary admission ticket allowing entry one hour earlier than the regular opening time on the day after their stay, and an invitation to special viewing areas for performances such as fireworks.
