My husband and I spontaneously planned a trip to Gongju during the early May long weekend.
All the charming traditional hanok guesthouses were fully booked, leaving us scrambling for options. That's when we stumbled upon Hotel Fashion, a highly-rated spot near the Gongju General Bus Terminal. And let me tell you, it was a total home run for location, service, and value!
Even before we checked in, we were impressed. My husband booked through Agoda, and the hotel actually called us to confirm our non-smoking room preference and assure us of a comfortable stay. That friendly call instantly boosted our confidence in the place.

Hotel Fashion is a fantastic choice for walk-friendly travelers, located just about 330 feet (0.06 miles) from the Gongju General Bus Terminal!
We arrived by car, and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, a staff member (perhaps the owner?) immediately came out to guide us. Talk about a great first impression!

The lobby is definitely a highlight at Hotel Fashion!
The compact but well-stocked free snack bar offers unlimited cereal, toast, tea, coffee, and milk.
The mellow background music was also a nice touch, and I noticed the speakers were Yamaha – a pleasant surprise!
What really caught my husband's eye, though, was the Han River ramen machine!
Each guest gets one free ramen, with three different types to choose from. The owner even kindly explained how to use it, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his late-night ramen. Seriously, a free snack bar *and* Han River ramen at this price point? Unbeatable value!

My husband found the Han River ramen machine fascinating, so here’s a quick video we took!
Though we didn't use it, there was also an ice machine, which would be perfect for anyone who loves iced drinks.
Each room comes with two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, plus an additional service bottle!
There's even a microwave in the hallway, which is handy for heating up simple late-night snacks.
Room Condition: Room 302 (Non-Smoking)
Right inside the door, we found reusable slippers!
The room featured a sofa, a side table, and a bed.
While the bedding wasn't the most luxurious, it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay.
The room itself was compact but felt very efficiently designed.
A high-performance PC was available for work or gaming, and with access to various streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, TVing, Apple TV, and Watcha, my husband and I had a blast watching shows.
The mini-fridge had two bottles of water, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an air purifier in the room!
There was also a curling iron and a hairdryer, though I must warn you, the hairdryer's airflow was quite weak.
Even though I brought my own pajamas, clean robes were provided, along with a full set of disposable amenities. You could honestly just show up with your toothbrush and be fine!
The bathroom was spotless!
I fumbled a bit with the shower knob at first (turning it every which way, I confess!), but the hot water flowed well, and the water pressure was decent.
Overall Review & Booking Tips
This hotel is incredibly popular for its value, so it was fully booked during the long weekend.
My only minor complaint was the soundproofing – some energetic girls in the next room chatted loudly until 1 AM, which disturbed my husband's sleep a bit. However, considering the owner's exceptional kindness and the overall cleanliness, it was a minor inconvenience we could easily overlook.
For anyone visiting Gongju for travel or business and looking for a great value stay near the terminal, I highly recommend Hotel Fashion.

It is located a 100m walk from Gongju Intercity Bus Terminal. Being very close to the terminal, it is easily accessible for travelers using public transportation on foot.
Hangang-style ramen is provided for free, limited to one per guest. There are three types of ramen available, and you can cook it yourself at the free snack bar.
Both a hair straightener and a hair dryer are provided in the rooms. However, please note that the airflow of the hair dryer is quite weak.
Check-in is available from 5:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM. Free parking is available upon arrival, and staff will assist you with parking guidance.
