That's why the **Holiday Inn Trois-Rivières**, perfectly **located in Trois-Rivières**, was such a great midpoint stop during our road trip!

3. Hotel Exterior/Interior
The exterior of the **Holiday Inn Trois-Rivières** boasts a typical new-style Holiday Inn Express look – clean, tidy, and I was especially pleased that **free outdoor parking** was available!
The hotel lobby was also spotless, and both the check-in area and common lounge spaces were neatly organized, making the overall experience very satisfying!
In the lobby, there's a coffee machine you can freely use,
and a small shop where you can grab simple drinks and snacks,
which I found super handy!
4. Room Condition
2 Queen Suite
The room I stayed in was a 2 Queen Suite,
and we were assigned room 105!
Overall, the room had a modern and clean vibe,
and the beds were so comfortable, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Since it's a room with two queen beds, it's ideal for a family trip
— truly a perfect stay!
There's also a TV and a table where you can get some light work done,
which was great for enjoying a beer after a day of exploring.
With a microwave, coffee machine, and a mini-fridge,
it's super convenient to buy some simple food and enjoy it right in your room!
The bathroom, too, was spotless, just as you'd expect from a chain hotel,
and impeccably maintained, which was very satisfying!
There was a shower combined with a bathtub,
and as for amenities, both shampoo and body wash were provided,
so you don't need to bring your own!

5. Breakfast
One of the biggest advantages of the Holiday Inn Express brand is
that breakfast is included!
Dining out in Canada can be quite expensive, so for family travelers,
having one meal, breakfast, included for free
is a much bigger perk than you might imagine!
Breakfast featured a variety of American breakfast items,
including cereal, bread, eggs, ham, and fruit.
It was served buffet-style, so we could eat comfortably!
It was incredibly convenient to grab a quick, hearty meal and head straight to our next destination.
6. Hotel Facilities
The hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool that you can use regardless of the season or weather,
making it particularly satisfying for family trips.
A fitness center is also available, so you can
easily get a workout in during your trip!
