If you're looking for accommodation in Bali's Canggu, you probably already know Holiday Inn Canggu for its famous breakfast. I was curious about the breakfast and the rooftop pool dinner at the Holiday Inn Resort this time, so I paid a visit. Its location is truly fantastic, so make sure to read the review carefully below!

The Holiday Inn Canggu, which I highly recommend for your Bali accommodation, is a brand-new hotel that opened in '23. As a 5-star resort under the IHG group, it's a place that many travelers, especially from Korea, would absolutely love.

For your reference, the IHG Group includes well-known hotels like InterContinental, Indigo, Regent, and Six Senses.

A huge advantage of Holiday Inn Canggu Resort's location is that you can walk to famous brunch cafes and beach clubs like La Brisa within 10 minutes.

Rooms - Ocean View Top Premium King

The overall wooden interior gives it a distinct sense of luxury, setting it apart from ordinary hotels. The wooden vanity and bathroom elements also create a wonderfully warm ambiance.

Having a balcony that directly overlooks Canggu Beach is fantastic for drying swimsuits, and the view in the morning is simply stunning!

There were two types of pillows available—firm and soft—so I slept incredibly well.

The fact that the air conditioning unit was located on the floor also seemed to contribute greatly to a comfortable stay.

The amenities were Dove, so they smelled lovely, and since the showerhead was replaceable, I used it with my own filter attached.

The best part about this room? It's the swimming pool located on the 5th floor! With the rooftop pool right on the same floor, it was so convenient that I could just throw on my swimsuit and a robe and go for a swim whenever I wanted.

Breakfast

The place famous for breakfast in Bali is none other than Holiday Inn Resort Canggu. Before I made my reservation, I looked into several places, and the breakfast reviews from Korean travelers were exceptionally good.

Inside, the tables are spaced incredibly far apart, and the restaurant itself is spacious, making it very comfortable.

You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant called ROOMAH. It's located on the first floor.

✅Breakfast Hours: 6:30 AM ~ 11:00 AM

✅Menu - A unique aspect of breakfast at Bali hotels is that they take a la carte orders.

They give you a menu like this, so you can choose and order whatever you like. Since it's an unlimited menu per person, feel free to order everything you want, and if something's really delicious, you can have more! There's no time limit either, but after trying one of everything... I was completely full until lunchtime haha.

There's also a section with buffet-style items like fruits and salads, but once you start ordering from the menu, there's so much delicious food that I found myself only visiting the buffet once.

I love having all my food laid out at once, so I asked if I could order several items, and they very kindly said, 'Of course!' So I tried a little bit of everything.

✅I tried both the waffles and French toast, and waffles win! They're crispy and pair perfectly with maple syrup.

✅You absolutely must try the Eggs Benedict! The hollandaise sauce and poached egg were warm and oh-so-delicious... honestly, it was way better than any brunch cafe.

✅The Beef Bagel was so perfectly combined as a simple sandwich that I had it again the next day.

The omelets were incredibly fluffy on the inside, truly a 5-star hotel masterpiece. You absolutely have to try them!

Since they cooked everything fresh right on the spot, it tasted even better. And let me tell you, the Nasi Goreng here was the absolute best I had in all of Bali!

Another amazing thing was that when we mentioned we were heading out for a jeep tour at 3 AM the next day, they actually prepared breakfast for us! Seriously, you HAVE to experience this place – truly touching service! (It was a beef bagel and a club sandwich! So incredibly delicious!)

Facilities

I was genuinely surprised to find a Kids' Club among the facilities at Holiday Inn Canggu. It really felt like the perfect resort for a family trip to Bali with kids. You could easily spend an entire day without even stepping outside, as everything from the pool and kids' zone to lunch, dinner restaurants, and the gym was all conveniently available.

It's located on the G floor (ground floor) underground, and the Kids' Zone is quite spacious and cool, making it seem like a great spot to spend time with young children.

There's also a wide-open space where you can enjoy board games.

The gym also boasts modern equipment and is so impeccably clean that it made me genuinely want to work out.

📌 A huge plus is that the gym operates 24 hours a day, which is fantastic for those with early morning or late-night workout routines!

Dinner (Roomah)

Since many guests seemed to enjoy dinner at Holiday Inn Canggu, I also decided to have my evening meal that day at the Roomah restaurant – the same place where we had breakfast – instead of a beach club.

Rooftop Infinity Pool - Swimming Pool

There aren't many accommodations in Canggu with an infinity pool, but Holiday Inn Canggu proudly boasts both a rooftop bar AND a swimming pool!

Holiday Inn Canggu: Final Thoughts

A major highlight of Holiday Inn Canggu is its fantastic, accessible location. You can easily walk to popular Bali beach clubs like La Brisa, and amazing brunch spots such as Baked, Gigi SuSu, Deus, and Love Anchor. That's a huge plus!

The breakfast is à la carte and tasted better than most brunch cafes. What's more, dinner isn't overpriced, yet it feels upscale enough that I'd highly recommend it.

It seems like the absolute best accommodation for a family trip to Canggu, and the fact that everything is brand new and so incredibly clean was another big win.
