For a true tropical getaway like Bohol,
while the room itself is important, we found ourselves prioritizing
the location and, of course, the swimming pools above all else.
Our ultimate choice for this trip?

a name that consistently pops up in every Bohol accommodation recommendation!
After experiencing it firsthand,
from its unbeatable location right on Alona Beach
to the comfortable rooms, stunning pools, and delicious breakfast,

For me, the absolute biggest perk of Henann Alona Beach Resort is its incredible location.

Being directly on Alona Beach means you can easily transition
from a refreshing swim in the resort pool to a dip in the ocean.
In the evenings, it was a breeze to stroll along the beach
or explore the myriad of nearby restaurants and cafes.
While Bohol is famous for island hopping and inland tours,
you'll also spend a good amount of time relaxing at your resort.
Henann Alona Beach offers the perfect balance, making it super convenient
to unwind within the resort and then step out to explore.
If this is your first time visiting Bohol, you'll definitely appreciate the ease and accessibility this location provides.
02. Deluxe Room: Spacious & Comfortable
The room we stayed in was a Deluxe Room.
This is one of the most popular and standard room types at Henann Alona Beach,
and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt.
These rooms typically measure around 375-430 square feet (35-40㎡) and are assigned with either
one King bed or one Queen bed and one Single bed, depending on the room type.
We had plenty of space to spread out our luggage,
and the balcony was perfect for drying swimsuits or simply enjoying a moment to take in the views.
The bathroom was also quite generous,
with a separate shower area, which was very convenient after a day of swimming.
Basic amenities like a refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, a safety deposit box, and a hairdryer were all provided.

03. Henann Alona Beach: A Swimmer's Paradise with Three Pools
If you're choosing Henann Alona Beach, you absolutely have to make the most of their incredible pools!
The resort boasts a total of three swimming pools,
each with its own unique vibe, so it never feels like you're just swimming in one spot.
My personal favorite was definitely the beach pool, located right in front of Alona Beach!
With swaying palm trees, crystal-clear water, and the ocean stretching out before you,
it perfectly captures that quintessential Bohol resort feel.
By day, it's a fantastic spot for photos,
and in the evening, the lights create a truly magical atmosphere for a night swim.
Each pool also has its own swim-up bar,
making it easy to grab a refreshing beer or a cool drink while you're enjoying the water.
Honestly, I'd highly recommend dedicating at least one day of your Bohol trip to just
swimming → eating → gazing at the ocean → and then swimming some more – you won't regret it!
04. From Breakfast to the Pool: Seamless Resort Living
We booked our stay with breakfast included, which made our mornings incredibly convenient.
Breakfast is served buffet-style at Coral Café from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
You'll find a wide array of options, including pastries, egg dishes, hot foods, and fresh fruits –
all perfect for a hearty start to your day before your adventures begin.
Especially if your itinerary involves a lot of pool time, like ours did at Henann,
it's so much easier to grab breakfast at the resort, get ready in your room,
and then head straight down to the pools rather than searching for an outside restaurant.
