Michelin-Recommended Local Thai Restaurant in ICONSIAM, Bangkok

When visiting ICONSIAM in Bangkok, many people head straight to SookSiam,
the indoor floating market-style food court in the basement.
However, since it mostly offers snacks and light bites,
I wouldn't personally recommend it for a proper sit-down meal.
Instead, I went up to the 6th-floor dining area to try the local Thai spot,
Have a Zeed, a Michelin-recommended restaurant,
and ended up having an incredibly satisfying meal! '-'
Let me introduce you to this fantastic ICONSIAM dining destination.
1. Have a Zeed
🫕 Have a Zeed
Address: 6th Floor, ICONSIAM
Hours: Daily 10:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM

To find Have a Zeed in ICONSIAM,
head to the 6th floor. It is on the left from the elevator,
or to the right if you are coming from the escalator.
The dining zone is quite large and can feel like a maze,
but Have a Zeed was easy to spot right away.

Featured in the Bangkok Michelin Guide
for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024)!
It's already highly popular among travelers
as a must-visit local Thai restaurant.

We visited during dinner hours
and were seated immediately without any wait.
They offer a variety of seating options, including 2-person and 4-person tables,
and the overall atmosphere is clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Just keep in mind that since this is a well-maintained,
premium restaurant inside ICONSIAM,
the prices are slightly higher than typical local street food spots.
2. The Menu

As a proper local Thai restaurant,
Have a Zeed offers a massive selection of dishes.
From classic Thai favorites like Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Som Tum, and Khao Pad
to more authentic local delicacies, the options are incredibly diverse!

Because the menu is so extensive,
it actually took us quite a while just to choose what to order!
It might be a good idea to decide on your must-try dishes in advance.
3. Review

Since there were four of us, we ordered a wide variety of dishes.
After tasting them one by one, I completely understood why
this place is so famous as a must-visit spot in ICONSIAM 🥹

Chicken Pad Thai 145 THB (~$4)
Overall, the Chicken Pad Thai had a wonderful balance of
sweet and tangy flavors.
I absolutely love that signature soft yet chewy
texture of Pad Thai,
and they nailed it here. Super satisfying!
You can easily find Pad Thai back home, but
honestly, nothing beats eating it right here in Thailand! 🥹

Pad See Ew 145 THB (~$4)
Pad See Ew is in a similar lane to Pad Thai,
but the flavor profile is a bit different.
Stir-fried in a soy sauce base, it’s savory, rich,
and has a slightly deeper, heartier feel than Pad Thai.
They use fresh, wide flat rice noodles, which are wider than Pad Thai noodles,
and the texture was incredibly chewy and delicious!

Pad Kra Prow Moo Saap 160 THB (~$5)
This is a classic Thai dish featuring minced pork
stir-fried with holy basil, served over rice.
The subtle kick of spice really brought all the flavors to life.
If you're visiting Have a Zeed at ICONSIAM,
I highly recommend giving this one a try! 👍

Morning Glory 140 THB (~$4)
Morning Glory is an absolute must-order whenever you visit a restaurant in Bangkok.
We ordered it with a touch of spice,
and it was so fresh and crunchy—it served as the perfect refreshing side dish.

Leng Saap (Spicy Pork Spine Soup) 345 THB (~$10)
This is a local Thai specialty made by slow-simmering
pork spine to create a spicy and sour broth.
Leng Saap became famous at the Jodd Fairs Night Market.
But since I was worried about getting an upset stomach from market street food,
I decided to try it here at this Michelin-recommended spot instead.

Since it’s loaded with herbs like cilantro and lime juice,
it might be a bit polarizing,
but it definitely gives you that authentic, local Thai flavor.
I'm not a big fan of cilantro, so I just picked off the meat,
which was incredibly soft and easy to eat.
I dipped the slightly drier cuts of meat into the morning glory sauce,
and wow, they actually paired surprisingly well! 👍´-

Including the 10% service charge, the total came out to 1,265 THB,
which is about ~$37.
While it’s pricier than Bangkok's local street vendors,
it felt very reasonable for a clean, air-conditioned meal
inside a beautiful mall.
If you're looking for a great place to eat at ICONSIAM in Bangkok,
I highly recommend the Michelin-recommended restaurant Have a Zeed ~

We stopped by during the dinner rush,
but luckily we got seated right away without any wait.
They have a great variety of seating, from cozy tables for two to larger tables for four,
and the overall vibe was clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Just a quick tip: since this is one of the more upscale, well-managed restaurants
located inside ICONSIAM, Bangkok,
the prices are on the higher side compared to your typical local street food stalls.

3. Our Review

Since there were four of us, we got to order a nice spread of dishes,
and after tasting them one by one, we completely understood why
this place is so famous at ICONSIAM! 🥹

Chicken Pad Thai - 145 Baht (~$4)
The Chicken Pad Thai hit all the right notes,
with a wonderful balance of sweet and tangy flavors.
I personally love that signature soft-yet-chewy
texture of a great Pad Thai noodle,
and they executed it perfectly here. I was so satisfied!
You can easily find Pad Thai anywhere back home, but honestly,
nothing beats eating it fresh right here in Thailand! 🥹

Pad See Ew - 145 Baht (~$4)
Pad See Ew shares some similarities with Pad Thai,
but has a distinct flavor profile of its own.
Stir-fried in a soy sauce base, it’s savory, rich, and deeply comforting—
it has a slightly heavier, hardier feel than Pad Thai.
The fresh wide rice noodles are broader than Pad Thai noodles,
and that wonderfully springy texture was absolutely delicious!

Pad Kra Prow Moo Saap - 160 Baht (~$5)
A staple Thai dish featuring minced pork stir-fried with holy basil
served over rice. It has just the right kick of spice
to bring out all the deep, savory flavors.
If you're visiting Have a Zeed at ICONSIAM,
I highly recommend giving this classic dish a try! 👍

Morning Glory - 140 Baht (~$4)
Morning glory is an absolute must-order whenever you eat out in Bangkok.
I went with a slightly spicy version,
and since it was so crunchy, it served as the perfect refreshing palate cleanser (kind of like kimchi!).

Leng Saap - 345 Baht (~$10)
This is a local Thai dish made with tender pork spine simmered in a rich broth,
delivering an incredibly spicy and delightfully sour flavor profile.
Leng Saap originally gained fame at the Jodd Fairs Night Market,
but since I wanted to play it safe and avoid any potential stomach troubles from street food,
I decided to try it here at this Michelin Guide restaurant in Bangkok instead!

With a generous amount of lime, cilantro, and other local spices,
it might be a bit of an acquired taste for some, but
it definitely gives you that super authentic local Thai vibe.
I'm not a big fan of cilantro, so I mostly picked off the meat,
and it was so tender and incredibly easy to eat!
For any drier parts, I dipped them in the morning glory sauce—
which was a surprisingly amazing combination! 👍´-

Including a 10% service charge, the total came to 1,265 Baht,
which is around ~$37 in total.
While it's on the pricier side compared to local street food spots in Bangkok,
it felt quite reasonable for a meal enjoyed in a cool,
hygienic, and beautiful department store environment.
If you're hunting for a great place to eat at IconSiam in Bangkok,
I highly recommend this Michelin Guide restaurant, Have a Zeed! ~
