Wecozy
For my latest Hanoi adventure, I decided to plant myself right in the heart of the Old Quarter. Having stayed in other areas before, I knew this trip would be all about exploring the bustling markets, vibrant street food, and unique activities, all conveniently located in this historic district. After a bit of searching, I stumbled upon Wecozy, and let me tell you, its accessibility and incredible value truly impressed me. It's a find I just had to share!
An Accessible and Budget-Friendly Hanoi Hotel
📍 Wecozy Nội Miếu
2VM2+WC4, Ng. Nội Miếu, Hàng Buồm, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội, Vietnam
This Hanoi gem is tucked away in a charming alley within the Old Quarter. It's the perfect spot for exploring Beer Street (Ta Hien) and all the fascinating nooks and crannies of the ancient city. The alley can be a little tricky to find at first, but don't worry!

If you spot this hostel, you're on the right track! Just head right from here, and you'll find Wecozy.

A Fully Automated Self-Check-in Hoan Kiem Accommodation

From the lobby entrance to your room, Wecozy operates entirely on a self-check-in system. You'll receive detailed instructions via message, including your entry codes and room number. Once you're at your designated room, simply input the code on the key safe to retrieve your room key – it felt a bit like a fun escape room challenge! I actually arrived without realizing it was fully automated and hadn't checked my messages, but thankfully, a friendly cleaning staff member was there to open the door and explain everything. Turns out, the detailed instructions were indeed waiting for me!
The Room, Bathroom, and Toilet

The room itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed, without any unnecessary clutter. My only minor gripe was the absence of a dedicated table. However, unless you're planning on doing extensive work in your room, it's not a huge deal. Plus, I managed to improvise with the existing furnishings when I needed a makeshift workspace.

There's also a tiny balcony, which, to be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to do with. It's just enough space to step out and get some fresh air.

Here's a look at the amenities, toilet, and shower area. Note that there isn't a separate bathtub.
Other Facilities

On the ground floor, you'll find a communal kitchen for preparing simple meals and a dining area for breakfast. Honestly, though, with Beer Street just a stone's throw away and countless eateries right outside this Hanoi city accommodation, I doubt many guests opt to cook or eat breakfast here!

The top floor also features laundry facilities. It's nothing fancy, but it's a convenient amenity to have for travelers.
Overall, Wecozy was a pretty great Hanoi Hoan Kiem hotel. Its proximity to the main road was a huge plus, but being tucked away in an alley meant that the bustling street noise didn't reach the rooms, offering a peaceful retreat.
While the lack of on-site staff might be a little surprising at first, the detailed instructions sent via message make check-in and check-out a breeze. For more information, you can check the page below.

Beer Street is literally just a 2-minute walk away!
The password and entry method required for check-in will be provided via message. You will open the key box in front of your room with the received password to retrieve your room key.
The accommodation is located in an alley in the Old Quarter, just a 2-minute walk from Ta Hien Beer Street. Since it's inside an alley, noise from the main road does not reach the property.
The rooms are clean and equipped with only the essentials. There are no separate tables or bathtubs. There is a modest balcony.
