Paran Cruise Guam Dolphin Tour 2026: Hotel Pickup & Activities
Experience the ultimate Guam dolphin cruise with Paran Cruise in 2026! Enjoy convenient hotel pickup, thrilling dolphin watching, snorkeling, and fishing for an unforgettable ocean adventure.

Hello everyone, it's Hannah!
When you go to Guam, there are so many amazing ocean activities to enjoy, right? We've tried everything from snorkeling to parasailing and jet skiing, but it suddenly dawned on us that my husband and I had strangely never been on a cruise before.
So for this Guam trip, we thought, “This time, let's really make the most of our time on the ocean!” and started comparing various Guam cruise options.
Among them, the one that really caught our eye was **Paran Cruise**. It included hotel pickup, a stop at Emerald Valley, dolphin watching, snorkeling, and even fishing, all in one package! Plus, the boat seemed relatively large, making it a great choice for our first cruise.
I had initially thought that Guam dolphin cruises were simply about finding dolphins and then heading back. But after experiencing it, it felt much more like a hopping tour in Southeast Asia, where you get to enjoy a variety of activities out on the sea. If you do encounter dolphins, it adds an extra layer of magic to your trip. But even if you don't, the time spent on Guam's beautiful waters is a fantastic travel experience in itself.
1) Our First Cruise Experience
The cruise we booked was **Paran Cruise**, departing from Agat Marina.
📍 Paran Cruise Guam
Hågat, Agat Bay, Guam 96928
Initially, I compared various Guam K-Dolphin Cruise packages mainly based on price. But as I looked closer, I realized that factors like boat size, activity offerings, and hotel pickup availability were just as important as the cost.
Paran Cruise is advertised as a double-decker vessel that can accommodate up to 60 passengers. When I actually stepped aboard, the space felt much more expansive than I had imagined. It made me understand why people consider boat size when looking for a large Guam cruise.
The guide, captain, and staff greeted us warmly, and before we set sail, they clearly explained the safety rules and cruise itinerary.
However, the weather that day was a bit of a challenge ㅠㅠ
It kept raining, and the wind was blowing, so it wasn't quite the clear, refreshing Guam ocean cruise I had envisioned. I was a bit worried about the waves, but since the boat was fairly large, I felt more at ease than I expected.
2) How to Get There?
One aspect of Paran Cruise that I personally found incredibly convenient was the **hotel pickup** service.
Even without a rental car, you can travel from major Guam hotels to Agat Marina by vehicle. It was wonderful to have at least one day during our trip without having to worry about driving.
Hotel | 1st Round | 2nd Round |
Guam Plaza | 08:10 | 10:20 |
Bayview / Oceanview | 08:15 | 10:25 |
Nikko / Tsubaki / Lotte | 08:20 | 10:30 |
Westin / Reef | 08:25 | 10:35 |
Dusit Thani / Dusit Beach | 08:30 | 10:40 |
Hyatt / Holiday | 08:35 | 10:45 |
Crowne Plaza / Garden Villa | 08:40 | 10:50 |
PIC / Pacific Star / Royal Orchid | 08:45 | 10:55 |
Hilton | 08:50 | 11:00 |
Rihga Royal | 08:55 | 11:05 |
Onward / Santa Fe | 09:00 | 11:10 |
Individual Arrival at Agat Marina | 09:20 | 11:30 |
Departure | 09:30 | 11:40 |
Estimated Hotel Return | 12:30~13:00 | 15:30~16:00 |
But we didn't go straight to the harbor!
Mid-way, they gave us about 15-20 minutes to stop at **Emerald Valley** and take photos. We had a rental car, but for those traveling Guam without a car, being able to visit Emerald Valley just by booking this cruise would feel like an unexpected bonus!

The currently published pickup schedule starts in northern Tumon and proceeds southward. The first round begins with Guam Plaza at 08:10, then passes through Nikko, Tsubaki, Lotte; Westin, Reef; Dusit Thani; Hyatt; PIC; Hilton; and finally Onward, Santa Fe around 09:00.
For individual arrivals, you're advised to arrive at Agat Marina by 09:20 for a 09:30 departure for the first round. For the second round, it's a 11:30 arrival for a 11:40 departure.
If you're using the pickup service, I recommend double-checking the exact location and time for your hotel on the voucher you receive after booking.

3) What to Enjoy on Paran Cruise?
Once we set sail, we first cruised along, admiring the Guam ocean scenery while searching for dolphins.
That day, the waves were quite strong, and some people struggled a bit at the first stop. However, once we got into the water, it was surprisingly clear, and so many fish gathered around us.

My husband kept flailing around by himself, going somewhere, so I wondered what he was doing. Turns out he was looking for big fish, lol.
After enjoying our Guam snorkeling, we moved to the next spot, and this time, instead of dolphins, a giant Guam sea turtle appeared!
Every time I tried to take a picture, it would dive, and when it came back up and I raised my camera, it would disappear again… I couldn't get a proper shot in the end, but its shell looked bigger than my husband's back, so it was truly amazing to see in person.

We moved to a calmer spot and even enjoyed a Guam fishing experience.
My husband said the current was stronger than expected, so much so that the fishing hook was pushed sideways instead of sinking down. I always thought strong currents only existed in places with large tidal differences, like Korea's West or South Sea, but experiencing it firsthand in Guam made me realize how important it is to follow on-site safety rules when enjoying water activities.

Food was also prepared for us.
According to the current public guide, the first session offers tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, snacks, drinks, beer, and more, while the second session adds roll sushi to that menu.
The day we went, the weather wasn't great, so we ate at the harbor instead of on board. It was prepared buffet-style, which was plenty to satisfy all the passengers.
For those considering a Guam premium cruise, the fact that you can enjoy water activities, fishing, and food along with just dolphin watching makes this a compelling option to compare.

4) What's the best time to board?
The Parancruise currently offers two main schedules: 1st session at 09:30 / 2nd session at 11:40.
Rather than saying one time is definitively better, it's probably best to choose based on your travel itinerary.
If it were me, and I wanted to fit in other plans like shopping, cafes, or a southern island tour in the afternoon, I'd choose the 1st session. With the first session, you return to the hotel around 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, which allows you to make good use of your afternoon.
Conversely, if you don't want to rush in the morning and prefer to get ready slowly, the 2nd session is more comfortable. The second session also includes roll sushi in its food offerings, making it a great fit for those who want to cover lunch while enjoying the experience.
However, don't assume that "the morning sea is always calm." Just like on the day we went, wave conditions can vary depending on the weather and wind, so it's a good idea to check the weather conditions on the day of departure.
I also compared prices across several different tour products.
Comparison | Price Range | Key Features |
Scuba Company | late ~$30s (approx. ~$33-~$37) | Basic Dolphin Cruise |
Linden45 | late ~$30s to ~$40 (approx. ~$33-~$37) | Newest Vessel · Snorkeling |
Princess Ho | late ~$40s (approx. ~$41-~$44) | Time Slot Selection Available |
Parancruise | late ~$40s (approx. ~$41-~$44) | Emerald Valley · Snorkeling · Fishing · Food · Re-boarding Policy |
Dream Cruise | late ~$40s (approx. ~$41-~$44) | Large Cruise |
Star Cruise | early to mid ~$40s (approx. ~$44-~$48) | Snorkeling Included |
As of September 2026, based on one vendor, Linden45 is selling for from ~$38, and Star Dolphin, Midsummer, and Dream Dolphin are each selling for from ~$40. The Parancruise price also varies depending on the vendor and promotions, so it's better to consider what's included rather than just comparing the price alone.
A notable feature of the Parancruise is that it bundles hotel pickup, Emerald Valley, a double-decker vessel, water activities, underwater photography, fishing, food, and even a re-boarding policy in case no dolphins are sighted.
If your goal is to soak in the ocean atmosphere and enjoy the sunset, you might want to compare Guam sunset cruises separately. But if you're looking to truly get in the water and have fun during the day, choosing a dolphin tour like this one would be a better fit.
5) What if we don't see dolphins... ㅠㅠ
To be honest, the biggest disappointment on this cruise was not seeing any Guam dolphins ㅠㅠ.
Even though you can't 100% guarantee sightings of wild dolphins living in nature, it's a dolphin cruise, so we went with high expectations, and it's natural to feel a bit sad if you don't actually see them, right?
But there was one policy from Parancruise that I really appreciated.
If you don't encounter dolphins, you can re-board for free within 3 years of your initial boarding date!
This means that even if you miss them due to poor weather or dolphin sighting conditions, like we did, you get another chance on your next Guam trip. For my husband and me, who will likely visit Guam a few more times, this was quite a welcome condition.
We didn't see dolphins, but coincidentally, we did spot a shark right in front of the harbor when we returned!
We didn't get close enough to identify the exact species, but it was my first time seeing a shark in Guam, so it was both fascinating and a little scary, lol.
Ultimately, it would have been perfect if we'd seen dolphins on our first cruise, but experiencing everything from Emerald Valley and the ocean scenery to snorkeling, sea turtles, fishing, and delicious food all at once made it a more fulfilling itinerary than I had imagined.

And the good news is, we still have one more chance to conquer this within three years!
On our next Guam adventure, I'm really hoping for perfect weather so we can hop back on board and finally meet those amazing dolphins we missed this time around! :)
