Gongju Restaurant, Gongju Must-Visit

Stepping into the shop,
the bustling atmosphere immediately gave off the vibe of a true local gem in Gongju.

Although the store isn't huge, the neatly arranged rice cakes on display were incredibly inviting,
making me want to buy them all!

But what I was most eager to try was the famous
Buja Tteokjip Albam Mochi.

From the very first bite, the texture was incredibly impressive.
The chewy glutinous rice cake perfectly encased a whole Gongju chestnut,
creating a delightful blend of nutty flavor and subtle sweetness that lingered beautifully.

It's a truly unique Korean sweet treat!
The natural sweetness of the Gongju chestnuts paired wonderfully
with a cup of tea or even an Americano coffee.

It's an ideal snack to enjoy during your Gongju travels
and I noticed many people buying boxes of Albam Mochi as gifts for friends and family.
