Perched on a hillside, Wind Hill in Geoje is best accessed by car, as public transportation options are limited.
Parking
You'll find both paid and free parking options at Wind Hill.
Paid parking costs ~$2 per entry.
During my weekday visit, the free parking lot had ample space. However, on sunny days or during holidays, expect to use the paid lot.
Admission Fee

Though Wind Hill is privately owned, there's no admission fee to enjoy its beauty.
Restrooms

Conveniently located near the parking area, the restrooms were spacious and remarkably clean.
2. Exploring Geoje's Wind Hill


From the parking lot, it's a short 1-2 minute walk up a wooden deck to reach Wind Hill itself.
While not a strenuous climb, those with mobility challenges might find the short ascent a bit tricky.

Once you reach the top, you're greeted with breathtaking panoramic views.
From this elevated vantage point, the sparkling ocean stretches out before you, beautifully juxtaposed with the surrounding hills. The combination of mountain and sea is simply stunning.


The iconic symbol of Geoje's Wind Hill is, of course, its beautiful Dutch-style windmill.
This charming windmill makes for an incredible photo opportunity, so be sure to snap some memorable shots during your Geoje trip!
I visited just before the Chuseok holiday in September 2026, and the clear skies and pleasant weather made it absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll.


And true to its name, 'Wind Hill,' my visit was exceptionally breezy! The sea air was invigorating.
I even got a little taste of the salty sea spray – it was quite an experience!
