Recommended Budget-Friendly Hotel Near Asoke Station

Gardina Asoke Hotel & Residence (Gardina Asoke)

is a 4-star hotel located near Bangkok's Asoke Station.

Bangkok is a city where you'll find yourself moving around a lot,

so hotel location is absolutely key.

This spot was perfect for enjoying both sightseeing and shopping!

With both BTS Asoke Station and MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station

within easy reach,

planning our daily routes was a breeze.

Checking In at Gardina Asoke

We booked a Premier Twin Room with a Pool View for 3 adults.

You'll need to pay a security deposit upon check-in.

They accept currencies other than Thai Baht,

and card payments are also accepted, so no need to worry!

I paid with my credit card,

and the refund took about 2 to 3 days to process after checking out.

When we asked during check-in, they told us

outside food delivery is allowed in the rooms!

Once your food arrives, you just take the elevator down

to pick it up yourself from the B1 level.

This was so convenient when we wanted a late-night snack

after returning from our Ayutthaya Sunset Tour!

However, keep in mind that durians are strictly banned inside the rooms,

so it's best to know this beforehand.

Room Condition

We were assigned to Room 407,

which was super clean overall, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable.

There was no noise from other rooms, making it perfect for a peaceful rest.

Plus, the AC was ice-cold, so our fatigue melted away

as soon as we stepped inside after a long day of exploring.

At first, since it was a twin room,

I worried it might be a bit tight for three of us.

But when we checked in and walked in,

we saw they had already set up an extra rollaway bed!

Thanks to that, everything was set without us even having to ask,

and the room felt much more spacious than expected.

It wasn't cramped at all, even with three suitcases fully opened.

If you're traveling with two friends

or planning a 3-person family trip, keep this place in mind!

Capsule coffee, bottled water, and plenty of power outlets.

It was perfect—they really didn't miss a single detail!

A filtered shower head is a total must-have for traveling in Southeast Asia.

With 3 of us showering twice a day for a 2-night stay,

here is what the filter looked like by the end!

Honestly, this is actually pretty clean for Bangkok,

so I took this photo feeling quite relieved and satisfied!

The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the hair dryer!

The airflow was way weaker than I expected,

so drying my hair felt like it took forever.

A tiny bit of a letdown there ㅠㅠ

Gardina Asoke Swimming Pool Review

Personally, my absolute favorite amenity here

was this gorgeous swimming pool nestled right between the hotel buildings.

Gardina Asoke Pool Hours: 06:30 AM ~ 09:00 PM

It was super well-maintained and the water was really clean,

making it so inviting to jump right in.

The depth was perfect for adults to splash around,

making it great for a relaxing dip.

And best of all, the photos here turned out absolutely amazing!

While the pool isn't huge,

we had the entire place to ourselves when we went,

so we could swim and take pictures completely worry-free.

There are sunbeds and swinging chairs scattered around the pool,

giving you plenty of cute spots for photos!

Living up to its name, the Premier Twin Room Pool View

delivered an absolutely stunning pool view.

They also have beach towels and an outdoor shower right by the pool,

so all you need to do is throw on your swimsuit and head down!

Free Shuttle Tuk-Tuk Service

One of the biggest perks of staying at Gardina Asoke

is that they offer a free tuk-tuk shuttle service!

Tuk-Tuk Service Hours: 06:00 AM ~ 12:00 AM (Midnight)

We mostly used it to get to Terminal 21 and Asok Station,

and it saved us from walking in the sweltering Bangkok heat,

which made our stay so much more comfortable.

(To be honest, one of the main reasons we booked this hotel

was definitely this convenient tuk-tuk service!)

When heading out from the hotel, request at the lobby,

and when returning, request via LINE or phone call

to request a pickup!

But if you plan on using this free tuk-tuk service,

there's one important tip you should keep in mind.

To message the hotel, you'll need the LINE app. But if you're creating a new LINE account,

did you know you have to complete a mobile verification step?

Luckily, my sister already had an active LINE account from her previous trip,

so we were able to use it without any issues.

Otherwise, getting the tuk-tuk back to the hotel

might have been a bit of a hassle.

Make sure you set up and verify your LINE account before your trip!!

On-Site Coin Laundry

On our last day, we also used the coin laundry located on the B1 floor of the hotel.

When traveling in Southeast Asia, you tend to sweat a lot and swim a bunch, so laundry piles up in no time. Having laundry facilities right inside the hotel turned out to be incredibly convenient!

You can buy detergent and dryer sheets with coins, and if you don't have any coins, you can just ask the front desk to exchange some for you.

The price was super reasonable, and being able to wash and dry everything in one go made packing our suitcases before heading home so much easier.

Oh, and there was also a microwave on the B1 floor!
