Our itinerary for the final day in Bali:
"The Beach Club"
To be honest, when you go to Bali,
you absolutely have to visit at least one beach club, right?
We actually skipped all the other beach clubs
just to make sure we could fit this specific one into our schedule!
When you think of Bali beach clubs, "La Brisa" and "Finns" usually come to mind.
They look amazing for hardcore extroverts (the "EEEEs" of the MBTI world),
but since we're more "introverted extroverts" (leaning closer to I),
watching videos of those crowded spots made us tired just looking at them... haha.
So after a ton of research, we decided on El Kabron!
We originally planned to hit up another beach club before heading to El Kabron,
but there was just so much to do at the "Ayana Resort"
that we decided to skip the other one and enjoy Ayana a bit longer.
By the way, Ayana offers luggage storage even after checkout,
so you can easily leave your bags there and explore the area!

- Booking via WhatsApp is highly recommended
- There is a minimum spend depending on the seating area
- You MUST try the paella!
- Check their schedule beforehand as they host different parties throughout the week
- When we visited, we were the only Koreans there
(In fact, we were the only Asians there at the time... haha)

We went on a Wednesday.
And we booked our spot via "WhatsApp."

We originally wanted to book the "VIP OCEANFRONT DAYBED,"
but since neither of us are big drinkers,
we figured we wouldn't be able to meet the minimum spend.
So, we opted for a regular "DAYBED" instead.
Tip !!!!!
1. Table Reservations
You can reserve and select specific Daybed or Party Sofa seats
if you arrive before 2:00 PM.
After 3:00 PM, seating is assigned on a first-come,
first-served basis.
(Our planned arrival time was between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.)
As a hardcore "J" (planner) type who absolutely must book everything in advance,
I messaged them on WhatsApp. The staff member told me
we could secure a reservation for the "SUNSET DECK SOFA" first,
and then switch to a "DAYBED" when we arrived
if there were any open slots!
So, I recommend booking the "SUNSET DECK SOFA" first
and arriving slightly before 3:00 PM,
or if you have time before 2:00 PM, lock in your exact spot in advance
and head over early to maximize your day!
(This tip is mainly for those planning to use the pool.)
2. Minimum Spend & Menu Recommendations
I'll share my menu recommendations below alongside the photos,
so please keep reading!
Since we booked a "DAYBED," the minimum spend
was IDR 1,400,000 per person
(approx. ~$77 per person, or ~$154 for two people).
But we totally miscalculated... since neither of us are big drinkers,
we should have just ordered a whole bottle of wine instead.
Instead, I just kept ordering Aperol Spritzes because they're my absolute favorite,
knocking back 3 of them by myself.
In the end, we still couldn't hit the minimum spend...
We figured it was fine since we had such a great time anyway,
but the staff kindly let us know we could use the remaining balance to buy retail alcohol!
So we ended up taking home a nice bottle of Balinese wine... haha!
If you feel like you won't be able to reach your minimum spend,
you can absolutely do the same and buy some bottles to take back with you.
+++
Quick tip: Definitely bring your sunglasses!
You'll want to stare at the breathtaking sunset from the pool forever... haha.
The staff here are incredibly, genuinely sweet.
It got a little chilly when we got out of the water,
and though they already had beach towels set up for us,
they immediately swapped out our wet towels for fresh ones.
They felt so warm and fluffy, like they'd just come straight out of the dryer!
It was absolute bliss.

The floral arrangements right from the entrance are absolutely gorgeous ❤️
Who knew a trendy DJ booth could look so beautiful covered in flowers? Haha.
Keep in mind that indoor seating is for restaurant dining only,
and does not include pool access.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It has such a different vibe from other beach clubs in Bali, doesn't it?
I totally see why they call it the "Ibiza of Bali" haha.

It seems they have performances with different themes depending on the day of the week.
Splashing around in the pool, listening to great music, with the sunset glowing right behind you...
It was absolutely, incredibly amazing!
Getting way too excited when "Mamma Mia" started playing... lol.
Honestly, just people-watching here gets you so hyped! haha

Even the restrooms at El Kabron are super trendy...
The layout is unique—when you enter, the doors are separate for men and women,
but once you're inside, the area right behind that mirror is actually the men's restroom...
They are basically connected! haha Don't be too startled.
I was so surprised at first when I saw a guy standing right on the other side... lol.
The individual stalls are actually quite spacious, making it easy to change clothes,
and there is plenty of room and even a mirror inside! haha

This is the "DAYBED" spot where we sat.
Since we arrived a bit late, there weren't many beds left.
The staff kindly asked if we'd be okay with the noise since there was a speaker right above us,
but we thought this spot was much better than the ones all the way in the back,
so we told them we'd take it! haha

Welcome Drink & Mini Watermelon Popsicle
The welcome drink tasted a bit strong (
the glass right under the watermelon popsicle is the welcome drink).
I started off by ordering an Aperol Spritz, which I completely fell in love with
and kept drinking throughout my Bali trip (it's also famous as BLACKPINK Jennie's pick!).
It is absolutely delicious! haha

Here is the menu!

These are the dishes we ordered, and every single one was so delicious
that I highly recommend getting the exact same things! haha
“SEAFOOD PAELLA”
“KING PRAWNS ON THE GRILL”
“FRENCH fries”

You absolutely MUST try the paella!! haha

The desserts we ordered after a dip in the pool:
“WARM DARK CHOCOLATE FONDANT”
“CHURROS”
Recharging our energy with some sweet treats after swimming!

It was a bit cloudy,
but I think that actually made it even better for swimming!
Bali sunsets are truly unmatched.
Just floating in the water, letting my mind go completely blank while watching the sunset...
was an absolutely magical experience.
When you're in the pool, there are staff nearby,
so you can easily order cocktails right from the water.
I highly recommend grabbing a spot right at the front of the pool (facing the ocean),
setting your drink down, and sipping it while soaking in the view.
(Trust me, it was pure bliss! haha)
I rested my phone right next to my glass,
taking photos, taking in the scenery, and splashing around...
just thoroughly enjoying the ultimate relaxed vibes.

At night, it transforms into a completely different vibe! haha
Since our last plan for the trip was a massage near the airport,
which we had pre-booked,
we headed out around 6 PM.

As we were leaving, they surprisingly gifted us a beautiful rose!

Hahaha
And here it is—the bottle of wine we bought
just to meet the minimum spend! lol

Since I'm not a big drinker, I brought home this bottle recommended by the staff. :)

And this is a little souvenir we got after the staff mentioned they give them out for leaving a review..!
Just being in Bali already feels like a dream,
but "El Kabron" made me feel like I had traveled to an entirely different destination.
The vibe here was so unique and refreshing.
I highly recommend carving out a whole day in your itinerary
to come experience this place.
It was easily one of my favorite
and most memorable moments of my entire Bali trip.
If you're planning a trip to Bali with friends,
I highly, highly recommend adding this to your list! haha
The minimum charge for a daybed is 1,400,000 Rupiah per person, which is ~$77. If you do not meet the minimum charge with your food and beverage orders, you can purchase alcohol with the remaining balance to take away.
Daybeds and party sofas can only be reserved for specific times until 2 PM; after 3 PM, seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to arrive late, we recommend booking a sunset deck sofa first and requesting to switch to an empty daybed on-site.
Indoor seats are for restaurant use only and do not include pool access. If you want to use the pool and enjoy the sunset, you must reserve an outdoor seat.
Yes, the restroom stalls are spacious enough to provide room for changing clothes. However, please note that the men's and women's restrooms are connected behind the mirrors.
Ayana Resort provides luggage storage services even after check-out. You can leave your luggage at the resort while enjoying your schedule around the area, such as visiting El Kabron Beach Club.
