So many of you are probably looking for indoor date spots,
and for a unique date in Suwon or Dongtan, I recommend
K-Korea Shooting Academy! :>

1. Dongtan Indoor Date Shooting Range: Location & Parking
📍 K-Korea Shooting Academy
Rooms 302, 303, 3rd Floor, Star Plaza, 53 Metapolis-ro, Dongtan-gu, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do
Newly renovated and reopened in June,
K-Korea Shooting Academy is located in Dongtan 1.
It's easy to find, just think of it as the building next to Shilla Stay Dongtan.
The Dongtan Star Plaza underground parking lot offers 1 hour free.
I (Bamkki) enjoyed the Master Package at a leisurely pace, so
it went a little over an hour, and there was a small extra charge. Just a heads-up!
2. Introducing K-Korea Shooting Academy, Gyeonggi-do's Shooting Range
K-Korea Shooting Academy is located on the 3rd floor.
When you get off the elevator, it looks just like the picture above!
Head straight to the right~ and you'll see
the entrance to K-Korea Shooting Academy, Dongtan's shooting range.
The lobby/waiting area and the shooting range were separated,
and overall, it had a clean and bright atmosphere,
making it feel comfortable for an indoor date in Suwon.
At K-Korea Shooting Academy, Gyeonggi-do's shooting range,
you can try rifle, pistol, and laser shooting.
These three types of experiences were available,
and I (Bamkki) booked the Master Package to try all three.
For ~$21 for the shooting experience,
it's definitely worth trying for a date, don't you think!?
The two coaches, who are also the representatives of K-Korea Shooting Academy,
have quite the list of awards and competition experience... 👀
You can see all those medals in the photo on the right, right?
Beyond just hobby shooting,
they also run courses for children, youth entrance exams, and professional athletes, so
it seems like a great place for kids to try shooting during their school breaks.
They even had certificates on display showing who had recently won awards.
How cool is that...🥹
3. Dongtan Date Course Recommendation: K-Korea Shooting Academy Master Package Review
Since we were already there, we decided to try everything!
My husband and I (Bamkki) enjoyed 10 shots with the air pistol, 10 shots with the air rifle, and 10 minutes of laser shooting.
My husband and I (Bamkki) started with the air pistol and rifle experience.
*The order may vary depending on the time.
Each type of gun had different characteristics,
and each time we tried a new one, the coach
explained everything in detail and with great kindness,
making the experience very comfortable.
First, we started with the air rifle!
Wow, look at that form~~~?
Actually, a couple's shooting range date can be a bit 'disadvantageous' for men,
because if you've completed military service, doing well is just breaking even!
So, try not to argue there, haha.
Since I, Bamkki, haven't completed military service yet, and it was my first time experiencing shooting, the gun's structure felt quite unfamiliar to me.
But during the shooting experience, the coach was right there beside me, constantly guiding me, so I felt completely at ease.
When you think of a pistol, most people probably imagine holding and shooting it coolly with one hand, but it was quite heavy, and I was struggling a bit, so the coach said, "I'll show you how to use one hand for laser shooting later!" 🤣
The paper target was set up quite far away, but you could press a button in front to bring it closer for verification. At first, I shot a lot lower as I was getting used to it, but once I considered that and re-aimed, my last four shots hit right within the black! >_<
Now, let's move on to the even cooler air rifle!
K-Korea Shooting Academy, where you can also experience air rifle shooting.
As expected, my husband's posture was spot on right away!
So cool! ♥️♥️
Since it's really heavy, I started by resting it on the floor to shoot, and once I got used to it, I even tried shooting while holding it up! ✌️
Considering it was my first time shooting, I think I did pretty amazing, right...!?
Just as the coach taught me, by aligning the foresight and rear sight properly and aiming steadily without moving the gun, I was able to shoot without much difficulty.
Maybe I should try entering a community sports competition...? Hehe!
At Dongtan Shooting Range, K-Korea Shooting Academy, athlete training sessions were underway inside.
While the experience is available for those aged 14 and above, elementary school students can register for lessons.
Equipped with the latest electronic targets, it looked like an excellent environment for shooting athletes to train!
Lastly, laser shooting!
While the previous air rifle and air pistol had a 10-shot limit, laser shooting doesn't involve actual projectiles, so you could keep 'shooting' with the laser for 10 minutes.
The laser hits on the target were displayed on the tablet in front, allowing for instant score checking.
Since this was the lightest gun, my partner got to try shooting it stylishly with one hand! Hehe.
I, Bamkki, also tried shooting with one hand, but even so, it was still quite heavy to hold continuously.
Especially when pulling the trigger, you're not supposed to wobble, and controlling that with one hand was really tough..!
It was my first time trying a shooting experience, and at a time like this when my concentration often wavers, it feels like a worthwhile and unique date activity for couples.
I highly recommend it as an indoor date course in Suwon, or a great place to visit in Dongtan.
