Cote Maison Pattaya Review 2026: French Seafood Dining on Beach Road
Searching for an authentic local dining experience in Pattaya? We found a true hidden gem: Cote Maison, a stunning French seafood restaurant with a classic ambiance.

While searching for an authentic local restaurant in Pattaya,
I ended up having dinner with a seafood course
recommended by a local staff member.

I recently visited the French restaurant
Cote Maison Pattaya,
located on Pattaya Beach Road.

It's a classic French dining restaurant,
featuring live piano music and beautiful chandeliers.

Instead of steak, we ordered the whole grilled sea bream
as our main dish that day.
It was a completely new experience as I'd never tried this style before!

First, appetizer bread is served.
Then, the meal items come out one by one.

If you go around 6 PM, you can enjoy both the daytime and nighttime ambiance,
and truly feel special on your trip,
so I highly recommend going in the evening.

Stepping into a Classic French Dining Experience before Sunset at 6 PM
We arrived around 6 PM on a weekday,
and found the entrance conveniently located next to Seoul Maison Cafe.
The guard greeted us with a wonderfully bright welcome.
I felt great even before stepping inside.

As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a stunning crystal chandelier
hanging from the high ceiling, and eye-catching burgundy-toned table settings.
On the railing of the mezzanine level, there was a grand piano.

I had seen information that they offered live music,
and I wondered if it was true, but it really was!!
So touching! 🙏
Most of the guests were international, and the atmosphere was quiet,
with people enjoying their meals with wine.

The staff served us at a perfect pace; their service was formal and meticulous,
making me feel truly pampered.
Pattaya's Local Gem Restaurant: Recommended Menu
Appetizers
Having indulged in a bit too much steak the day before,
I really wanted to try different dishes today.

I told the staff what I had eaten the day before and asked them to recommend dishes
that wouldn't overlap, while also suggesting this restaurant's signature dishes.

You know that feeling of anticipation, right?
First up, here are the appetizer menus!
1. Tuna Tartare
(Tuna Tartare) - 320 baht

It comes with crispy baguette. The mild tuna, soft dressing, and hint of herbal aroma
perfectly complemented each other, making it a wonderful starter.

2. Grilled Prawn Salad
(Grilled Prawn Garden Salad) - 390 baht

With plump, grilled prawns, fresh vegetables, and a zesty dressing,
this salad was pure freshness.

Enjoying it with wine truly enhanced the joy of my trip!

3. French Onion Soup
(French Onion Soup) - 220 baht

It was a classic French Onion Soup, with caramelized onion broth,
topped with bread and melted cheese. The rich sweetness and savory cheese
created a wonderfully warm and deep flavor.

Looking at the pictures makes me want to eat it again!

But it was so hot, my first spoonful surprised me!
After letting it cool down a bit, it was delicious.
4. Main: French-Style Sea Bream with Black Mussels
(French-Style Sea Bream with Black Mussels)-1490 baht

Can you tell how big that pan is?

I couldn't help but be astonished by the sheer size of the whole sea bream that was served.
Our server mentioned it was one of their signature dishes and highly recommended it.

This whole sea bream, oven-baked to perfection, boasted a wonderfully crispy skin and incredibly tender, juicy flesh!
The basil and herb-infused sauce was delightfully subtle and savory.
I loved that it wasn't overly salty, allowing the natural flavors to shine.
It offered a distinct flavor experience compared to the crispy grilled fish I've had in Korea.

Paired with fresh mussels, the umami flavor was absolutely divine!
A squeeze of the accompanying lime added a delightful zing and a fresh aromatic layer, transforming the experience.
Just a heads-up: if you're not a big fan of fish dishes, this might be a hit or miss for you.
But don't worry, there were plenty of other amazing dishes on the menu!

The fish was quite generously sized, perhaps a bit much for just two people.
But since it wasn't salty, it was perfectly manageable, and it truly complemented our wine beautifully.
