Chestertons Sokcho is a residence-style accommodation situated right by Cheongchoho Lake.
Comprising four buildings and 968 rooms, it's significantly larger than most hotels.

Just across the street, you'll find Hanaro Mart and E-Mart supermarkets, plus convenience stores, restaurants, and even the famous Sokcho Jungang Market nearby. Everything you need is right within reach.
On my last visit, I traveled with a group of eight and stayed in a three-room unit, but room options range from cozy studios to spacious two-bedroom units and family suites.
For families traveling with parents during Chuseok, many opt for a Two-Room Superior. Couples or smaller groups will find the Studio Standard perfectly comfortable.
*Studio rooms include parking for one vehicle, while two-bedroom units and larger accommodate two vehicles.
Some wings even offer stunning views of Cheongchoho Lake and Seoraksan Mountain, so be sure to check the view options when booking.
One of the biggest draws at Chestertons Sokcho is its outdoor swimming pool, fed by natural hot spring water year-round!
Imagine soaking while enjoying views of both the East Sea and Cheongchoho Lake – it's perfect for quality family time during Chuseok. There are also two open-air hot tubs, and the hot spring sauna is available for adults at approximately $8.
While in-room cooking isn't permitted, you can utilize the on-site restaurant or the shared kitchen facilities. The shared kitchen is fantastic for preparing meal kits or grilling your favorite meats.
Each room also comes equipped with a washing machine and drying rack, so multi-night stayers can pack light!
Check-in is super convenient too – you can skip the lobby queue and use mobile or kiosk self-check-in, which is a lifesaver during busy periods.
As the Chuseok holiday approaches, accommodation prices tend to climb. That's why it's crucial to always check the free cancellation policy when booking.

Chestertons Sokcho is located right in front of Cheongcho Lake. Across the street, you'll find Nonghyup Hanaro Mart and E-Mart. Convenience stores, restaurants, and Sokcho Jungang Market are also nearby, allowing you to easily find everything you need in the vicinity.
The hot spring sauna can be used for ~$8 per adult. The swimming pool is an outdoor pool with hot spring water available year-round, where you can enjoy views of both the East Sea and Cheongcho Lake simultaneously. There are also two open-air baths.
Studio rooms allow for one parked car, while two-room (or larger) suites can park up to two cars. Cooking is not permitted in the rooms, but you can use the shared kitchen to prepare meal kits or grill meat.
