1. Cafe Diamond Botteumri Location & Parking

Cafe Diamond Botteumri is nestled right beside Botteumri Reservoir.
Note: The entrance is only accessible from the northern side on the map; the southern road is a dead end.
Cafe Diamond has parking available on both sides of the building,
accommodating about 10-15 cars.
However, one time I visited, the parking management wasn't great...
Cars were parked all the way to the entrance of the main parking lot,
blocking access to available spots inside! 🤣
There's also a public parking lot near 'Old Suwon Garden'
that's shared with nearby restaurants at Botteumri Reservoir.
It's only a 2-minute walk from there, so if the cafe lot is full, head there!
2. Botteumri Reservoir View: Where to Sit?
The reason I recommend this as a Botteumri Reservoir cafe
can be perfectly summed up by the photo below:
Isn't it absolutely stunning?!
It was also around the time the lotus flowers were beginning to bloom,
making the expansive reservoir view even more beautiful with their presence.
(As of mid-July 2026, they were just starting to bloom.)
The entire cafe offers reservoir views through its large windows.
There are two floors, 1st and 2nd.
The 2nd floor definitely offers a more open and sweeping vista,
but the 1st floor still provides a lovely, tranquil view of the reservoir.

Each seating area has high partitions,
ensuring privacy, but honestly, the seats aren't the most comfortable. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
They're quite upright,
so it was a bit challenging to sit there for extended periods.

A major plus is that the cafe faces only a single-lane road and a pedestrian path,
offering an incredibly close-up view of Botteumri Reservoir.
3. Cafe Diamond Botteumri Menu: An Honest Review
This is the view looking down from the second floor.
Orders are taken on the first floor.
While it's a specialty coffee shop, they also
offer a variety of other options,
including strawberry lattes, smoothies, and bingsu (shaved ice).
But they are truly serious about their coffee,
offering a choice of five different bean types!
Decaf options are also available.
I went with my parents and we ordered a
cappuccino, an Americano, and an affogato.
4. My Personal Review of This Botteumri Reservoir Cafe
I'm usually a latte person,
but since the cappuccino is their signature drink,
I just had to try it, right?
The Italian 1:2:3 golden ratio...!
It was definitely a smoother cappuccino than what you find elsewhere.
We found a window seat on the second floor without partitions,
and my parents read books while I worked on my blog post,
making for a peaceful weekend. ❤️
Blankets are available on the first floor,
and you can even ask staff for board games,
making it a great spot to leisurely spend some time.
The cafe filled up quickly after lunch, so I recommend
visiting a bit earlier to secure a good spot.

Approximately 10 to 15 cars can be parked on both sides of Cafe Diamond. If there's no parking available, you can park at the Botteung-ri Reservoir parking lot near Old Suwon Garden and walk for about 2 minutes to reach us.
Botteung-ri Cafe Diamond operates from 10 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday, and from 10 AM to 9 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Since it tends to fill up quickly, we recommend visiting a bit earlier.
The signature menu item at Botteung-ri Cafe Diamond is the Milano Cappuccino, available with a choice of 5 different beans, and decaf options are also available. The reservoir view is possible from both the 1st and 2nd floors, but the 2nd floor offers a more expansive view.
