most of the resorts that pop up are usually around Alona Beach.

While the accessibility is definitely a plus,

I read quite a few reviews mentioning crowds

and a bit of noise, which just wasn't quite our travel style.

When we travel, we love spending all day exploring,

but then coming back to our accommodation and thinking,

'Wow... we really picked the right place.'

We love places that make us feel that way.

So this time,

The moment we stepped through the entrance of the accommodation,

my friend and I simultaneously,

We booked the **Garden Villa** for our stay.

The moment we opened our door, the very first thing that caught my eye was

the charming little garden right outside our room.

It was absolutely perfect for enjoying a morning coffee,

and the photos turned out so beautifully that I couldn't stop taking pictures!

The room itself was also much more spacious than I anticipated.

We could easily spread out two suitcases without feeling cramped at all,

and the bed was so plush and comfy that I slept like a baby throughout our entire trip.

What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything was,

giving the whole place a wonderfully pristine feel.

It looked almost exactly like the photos, which was a huge plus for me.

Once the sun sets, the charm of this accommodation truly comes alive.

The soft lights come on,

and the surroundings are so quiet

that just being inside the accommodation felt incredibly healing.

We even set up our action camera late at night, hoping to capture some stars,

but the battery died first, so we failed. 😂

Still, we saw so many stars in the sky,

and lucky us, we even saw a shooting star!

Sitting on chairs with my friend, we opened up a constellation app,

and talking about 'What star is that?' – that time together

was the most memorable moment of this trip.

We were able to fully enjoy a sense of relaxation here that we wouldn't have felt

if we had just rushed through tourist spots.

Honestly, when we were booking,

we did consider rooms with a private pool.

But there was a bit of a price difference,

so we booked a standard garden villa.

In the end, we didn't regret it at all.

...no one else came while we were swimming! Haha.

We borrowed the unicorn float and

heart-shaped float that the accommodation provided and had an absolute blast with my friend.

Flipping over while riding the unicorn float

and laughing for ages about it is a fond memory now. Haha.

This is precisely why we were thoroughly satisfied

even without a private pool.

📍 The location is a bit isolated, but it turned out to be a benefit!

This accommodation is a bit removed from the main area of Alona Beach.

So, walking to the beach isn't really an option,

and it's more convenient to get around by tuk-tuk or car.

There aren't many restaurants or convenience stores nearby either.

At first, I worried it might be a bit inconvenient,

but once we stayed, this actually felt like its biggest advantage.

Just a heads-up, we primarily used tuk-tuks,

and most drivers knew the accommodation's name.

So, simply saying "Halamanan Residences" was enough for them to take us straight there.

There was hardly any noisy motorcycle traffic,

and no loud music playing late into the night.

This meant we could truly focus on deep relaxation at the accommodation.

and then return to a peaceful haven in the evening to unwind,

However, since we booked it specifically because we wanted a quiet place,

In fact, we were quite satisfied to enjoy our time relaxing

without any hustle and bustle.
