Getting to AT&T Stadium & Parking

AT&T Stadium isn't in downtown Dallas; it's located in Arlington, south of the airport.

Therefore, visiting by car is highly recommended.

If you're on a tour, you can enjoy free parking in the north Blue Zone parking lot.

Even general visitors without tour tickets can use it for free.

However, on event days like sports games or concerts, parking needs to be reserved in advance.

The surrounding areas also become parking lots, and parking fees can be quite expensive,

so if your main goal is a tour, it's best to avoid event days.

If your accommodation during your trip is

near downtown Dallas or Fort Worth Central Station, it is possible to use public transportation,

but schedules might change on major event days.

I recommend reserving a parking pass in advance on the official website,

or by booking a slightly more affordable private parking lot nearby

before your visit.

AT&T Stadium Details

1. The Grand Scale of AT&T Stadium

AT&T Stadium is an absolutely massive stadium, boasting seating for approximately 80,000,

and capable of accommodating up to 100,000 people for concerts and other events.

It's a marvel of engineering with its retractable dome stadium, a sight you won't often see,

allowing sports games and large-scale concerts to be held

even during Texas's scorching hot summers.

Once I actually got to the stadium, I realized

it was so massive, I couldn't even capture it all in one glance.

I ended up having to take a full shot from the Walmart parking lot across the street!

While researching AT&T tours, I discovered that this is where the

BTS World Tour was being held!

It was scheduled for August 15th-16th —

a concert in a stadium of this incredible magnitude!

Unfortunately, my schedule didn't align, so I couldn't catch the show, but

I could definitely feel its world-class status.

2. AT&T Stadium Tour Options and How to Book

Even on days without games or concerts, AT&T Stadium offers

various types of tours.

The most popular is the VIP Guided Tour,

which is incredibly popular among travelers because it takes you through the

stadium's interior, onto the field, and even into the locker rooms!

It's even included in the Dallas CityPASS,

making it a great, hassle-free way to explore with a tour.

Beyond that, there's an Art Tour, where you can explore the various contemporary artworks housed within the stadium,

and even a tour that includes a session with the owner after the VIP tour.

However, these have limited schedules, so it's essential to check in advance.

It seems they used to offer a self-guided tour,

but it's currently not available.

You can book your tour on the official website.

Tours generally last about 1 hour and 30 minutes,

and you can reserve your start time based on your schedule.

If you book on the website, it costs $40 for adults plus additional fees,

so using a CityPASS is significantly cheaper!

If you're using a CityPASS, you'll need to check the tour schedule on the website and then

book your tour via email.

While it might be a bit of a bother, the price difference is significant,

so I highly recommend making your reservation in advance before your visit.

3. AT&T Stadium Gift Shop: Accessible Even Without a Tour

Since I was traveling to Dallas during the World Cup season,

they weren't running the VIP guided tours.

Instead, they were offering a FIFA World Cup Stadium Tour,

but unfortunately, that wasn't bookable with the CityPASS.

So, while I couldn't do a tour,

I couldn't just pass up the chance to visit – it would have been such a shame!

That's why I visited AT&T Stadium without a tour.

After parking for free in the designated visitor parking lot,

I was able to explore the exterior of the stadium.

I made sure to snap some photos at the **AT&T Stadium photo zone**!

Commemorative statues related to the Dallas Cowboys were placed all around the stadium,

but **the weather was incredibly hot, making it tough to explore the outdoor areas.**

Finding an entrance situated between the pro shop and ticket sales office,

I decided to venture inside first.

**You could enter the interior after a bag inspection.**

The bag check at the tour entrance was straightforward,

but do keep in mind that if there's a game or concert,

the bag inspection is reportedly much more thorough.

First off, it was wonderfully cool inside – such a relief!

With its sleek interior and impressive lighting,

it looked absolutely perfect for snapping some memorable photos.

For **general visitors who weren't on a tour, it was tough to roam freely inside.**

Instead, you could only explore **the souvenir shop located right next to the entrance.**

This was a fantastic space where you could discover **a wide array of Dallas Cowboys uniforms**

**and merchandise.**

It was incredibly spacious and offered so many different kinds of items!

What really caught my eye was the hat section!

Hats featuring the Dallas Cowboys' iconic star logo

were available in a stunning array of shapes and colors.

On one side, there were adorable uniforms and mascot plushies for kids,

which seemed perfect for matching family outfits on a family trip!

The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are incredibly famous, even having a documentary made about them on Netflix!

And true to form, the women's apparel, much like the cheerleaders' costumes,

was absolutely brimming with sparkle and glamour.

While there were also many adorable designs beyond the glamorous apparel,

the prices were quite steep, so I ended up putting them down.

It just brought to mind Lee Seo-jin's effortless shopping for all kinds of merchandise in 'Dalla Dalla'.

Further inside, there were cashiers, helmets,

and various decorative items.

Helmets and footballs came in smaller sizes, and I noticed many people buying them as souvenirs.

The shop had a second floor, so I went up, and it turned out to be a spot that connects to the inside of the stadium.

Through the large window next to me, I could glimpse the seats,

and I realized the scale was truly massive.

I thought it would be much better to watch an actual game or performance than to just take a stadium tour.

I even had a slight regret that I hadn't come for a World Cup match.

Due to my schedule, I couldn't explore the stadium's interior and

field, which was quite a shame.

If you're not particularly interested in football or the Dallas Cowboys,

I still recommend visiting the exterior to feel the sheer scale of AT&T Stadium and

browsing the pro shop with its wide array of merchandise.
