My Experience Visiting Angels Flight

I visited on a Friday afternoon, and to my surprise, there was already a decent line. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes to get close to the platform.

Since weekends get incredibly crowded with tourists, I highly recommend planning your visit for a weekday morning if you want to beat the rush.

Even though the ride itself is incredibly short, the classic orange-and-black design of the wooden cars set against the modern DTLA skyline creates a stunning aesthetic contrast.

The surrounding platforms and vintage archways are incredibly photogenic. Just standing nearby makes you feel like you've stepped right onto a movie set.

Because the line was moving slowly and the California sun was beating down, I actually decided to skip the actual ride this time.

Instead, I spent my time taking photos and videos from the top and bottom of the hill. Honestly, you can fully soak in the La La Land magic and get incredible shots without even boarding!
