A Fairytale Ambiance
While large resorts near Alona Beach might be dazzling and bustling,
Amarella, from the moment you step into its garden and lobby,
feels like entering a secret garden straight out of a fairytale.
With only around 30 rooms in total, it's a small-scale resort,
meaning you'll rarely bump into others no matter where you stroll.
You can enjoy the pool or beach almost as if you have it all to yourself,
in perfect solitude.
Unlike large resorts with noisy hallways,
here, opening your room door leads directly to a lush green garden and the sea,
feeling like our own private sanctuary :)
The antique wooden furniture, soothing to the eyes,
along with charming, well-loved decor items,
and a beautifully maintained garden, all come together.
Every time natural light streams in,
it truly makes you feel like you're in a foreign land.
An Exclusive Private Beach Perfect for Families with Kids
One of Amarella's biggest charms is
its exclusive private beach, reserved just for guests to enjoy in peaceful tranquility.
Even when I visited with my child when they were young,
it was wonderful to be able to play in the sand and swim in the clear sea
without feeling self-conscious or bothered by crowds.
When you head down to the beach, they offer free rentals of everything from sand toys to kayaks, paddleboards, and life vests,
Honestly, I don't think there's a better accommodation in Bohol
for a family trip with kids.
And at the pool, there's absolutely no need to rush out early in the morning
to snag a sunbed.
The true charm of a private beach resort is being able to use it peacefully whenever you want.
Lying on a sunbed and listening to the gentle sounds of the sea,
I couldn't help but feel, "Now this is what true relaxation feels like" :)

A Restaurant Where Every Dish is Delicious
Unlike the chaotic buffet breakfasts at large resorts,
Amarella allows you to enjoy a refined breakfast in a tranquil garden setting,
choosing your preferred time and menu.
Breakfast is a simple buffet,
featuring fresh fruit, warm bread, and egg dishes
all perfectly combined.
The local and seafood dishes ordered for lunch or dinner
also perfectly suited my taste, highlighting the natural flavors of the ingredients.
Thanks to the staff's uniquely kind and attentive smiles,
I felt wonderfully pampered throughout my stay.
Since there aren't many guests,
the staff remembered our family
and proactively took care of our needs, making us feel like we received one-on-one care.
These details combined are probably why I chose this resort again,
even visiting Bohol twice :)
Pre-Booking Checklist

slightly away from the bustling center of Alona Beach.
Thanks to this, you can escape the crowds of tourist areas and truly relax.
When you need to venture out, a tuk-tuk ride takes just over 10 minutes,
making it easy to enjoy meals or massages.
There are about four room types,
and since my child was young at the time,
I used the Deluxe Room and the Superior Twin Room.
The Superior Rooms, located on the upper floor,
are flooded with natural light
and offer beautiful views overlooking both the pool and the private beach.
The view is truly stunning.
The Deluxe Rooms on the first floor are close to the pool,
making it more convenient for the child to go back and forth for water play.
