Even before moving to Sejong, I had saved Airport327 Cafe in Daepeong-dong on my navigation app!
As fate would have it, my husband also received a recommendation for this fantastic large-scale cafe from a colleague. So, we decided to make it a Friday afternoon date and checked it out.
Upon arrival, the sheer spaciousness of the place was impressive, but what truly stole the show was the unobstructed Geumgang River view from the 7th floor.

Airport327 is a sprawling cafe located in Sejong's Daepeong-dong district. Its most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the wide-open views of the Geumgang River from its elevated position.
When visiting a cafe on the weekend, parking can often be a source of stress. However, at Airport327, the building's underground parking garage is quite spacious, and there were ample parking spots available. This made the parking experience largely stress-free.
After parking, simply take the elevator directly up to the 7th floor.
The convenience of visiting by car felt like a significant advantage for anyone looking for a cafe in Daepeong-dong.
Upon reaching the 7th floor, a much larger space than I had anticipated unfolded before me.
On the way to the counter, there's a performance area with a real piano, and there are also private rooms perfect for small gatherings or group meetings.
The colorfully decorated themed spaces also looked great for snapping some photos! They're designed to be used as photo zones, so feel free to strike a pose!
However, the most captivating feature at Airport327 was undoubtedly the Geumgang River view stretching beyond the panoramic windows.
The Geumgang River, the waterfront park, and even the distant apartment buildings were all visible at a glance. Being on a higher floor meant the view was completely unobstructed and incredibly refreshing.
There aren't as many window tables directly overlooking the Geumgang River as you might think. If you truly want to savor the view, I recommend visiting outside of peak weekend hours.
On this visit, we ordered the 327 Latte, an Iced Americano, an egg tart, and a blueberry pie.
The 327 Latte was on the sweeter side, but it notably lacked the often-heavy aftertaste found in many sweet lattes.
It offered a clean sweetness, which I personally found very satisfying. The Iced Americano was also reliably good.
While Airport327's prices aren't exactly cheap, considering the vast space and the incredible view of this large cafe, they didn't feel overly burdensome.
However, while the coffee was great, the bakery items were a bit of a letdown.
I had high hopes seeing the variety of pastries in the display case, but the items I chose weren't as delicious as the drinks.
The blueberry pie, in particular, had a somewhat soggy texture that clung to the parchment paper at the bottom, which was disappointing.
The egg tart wasn't exceptional, but it was perfectly acceptable.
In addition to the pastries and drinks we tried, they also offer brunch items like pasta and risotto, so keep that in mind when you plan your visit.
This cafe is a perfect fit for those seeking a Daepeong-dong cafe with a great Geumgang River view or a large cafe with convenient parking.
With a nursing room and high chairs available, it's also a great spot for families visiting with children. Its spacious layout and group seating make it ideal for various gatherings as well.
On the other hand, if your main objective is to enjoy exceptional pastries, I personally wouldn't recommend it.
