1. Discovering a Charming Yonago Cafe
Finding charming cafes or great restaurants in Yonago, a rather quaint town, wasn't always easy. I actually stumbled upon this atmospheric spot quite by chance, right after enjoying some delicious udon. It's conveniently located just about a 10-minute walk from Yonago Station, and since it has no set closing days, it's always a good time to visit.

Visiting on a rainy day made the ambiance even more captivating. The moment I saw it from the outside, I knew this was the place I had to check out!

As you can see, it's a charming cafe with an old-world feel, built primarily from wood. They also sell delightful goods, beverages, and small pastries, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

Payment was upfront, and credit cards were accepted. Drinks typically ranged from 300 to 700 yen. The drink portions weren't huge, and since many sweet options like melon soda seemed to use syrups, I opted for an Americano.

The attached gift shop featured small accessories, postcards, and other unique items. While the merchandise felt a bit pricey compared to the drinks, it was still fun to browse.

2. Inside the Atmospheric Yonago Cafe
Stepping inside, you're greeted by the inviting aroma of coffee. The cafe is spread across two floors, and its eclectic mix of furniture actually adds to its unique charm.

The second floor featured a large, almost conference-room-like table, alongside cozy nooks designed specifically for solo visitors.

There were even charming floor cushion seats for a more traditional, relaxed feel. If you're planning a longer stay, settling in by the warm stove for a chat sounds absolutely delightful.

3. My Experience at the Yonago Cafe
After ordering my coffee, I settled at a flower-adorned table and briefly enjoyed the sound of the rain alongside the garden view. I wished it hadn't been raining so I could have explored the garden and taken more photos, but it was still lovely.

Here's a photo, captured with a touch of that unique ambiance.

Inside on the first floor, there was a charming old stove, reminiscent of ones from my childhood, which added even more character to the cafe. Despite the rain, after a moment of hesitation, I decided to venture out into the garden.

The garden felt even more special because of the rain, creating a serene and captivating atmosphere. I imagine it would be equally stunning on a clear day, adding to its undeniable charm.
If you visit, I'd recommend opting for simpler, less syrupy drinks. As for the goods, they're a bit on the pricier side, but if you find something you love, go for it!
While it closes a bit earlier than some places (6:30 PM), why not time your visit to savor a moment of peaceful relaxation?
