Beyond being just a 2-minute walk from Wuxiaoguangchang Station, I found it super convenient to catch taxis to Dalian's main tourist attractions. Plus, there's a huge Aieat supermarket nearby, along with various restaurants and cafes, making my entire stay incredibly comfortable and easy.

Since transportation costs in China, like subway and taxi fares, are quite affordable, I highly recommend booking a well-located, budget-friendly hotel and utilizing taxis for sightseeing, especially if your trip focuses on exploring the city!

The hotel is super easy to find, located just a 2-minute walk from Wuxiaoguangchang Station's C1 exit. Simply exit and turn left, and you're there!

For DiDi Taxi users, search for: 悦享莱酒店(大连火车站中山广场店)

Check-in takes place on the first floor of the building. Just enter the main entrance, and you'll find the reception area immediately.

I simply showed my passport, and the check-in was processed quickly. If I needed anything, I could easily contact them via WeChat. They also offer convenient luggage storage both before and after check-in, which was a huge plus.

One amazing feature of the Weixianglai Hotel is their parcel storage service. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped me retrieve my packages from the storage lockers and carry them to my room. They made sure I confirmed all my deliveries had arrived and reassured me that they would contact the front desk if any were still missing, which was a great relief.

It's worth noting that the Weixianglai Hotel Dalian doesn't occupy an entire building; it operates as an apartment-style hotel within a larger complex.

After checking in on the first floor, you'll head right to find the entrance to the apartment section.

The card key you receive at check-in serves double duty, granting you access to both the lobby and your room!

Weixianglai Hotel Dalian Station Room Review

I booked the Exceptional Comfort Room, which features a Queen bed and a private bathroom.

Upon entering, you're greeted by a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and a large table, with the queen bed situated right next to it.

The bedding was clean, fresh, and smelled great. The bed itself was large and incredibly soft, making for a very restful sleep.

There's a cozy seating area by the window, and I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the night view was from there. I found myself sitting there every evening, just taking in the city lights. Overall, the cleanliness of the room was quite good.

The kitchenette area is right by the entrance. Do note that there are no cooking utensils, microwave, or drinking water provided. However, the refrigerator is quite large, which was perfect for storing all my drinks and snacks after a grocery run!

The bathroom is located to the left as you enter. Basic amenities, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a hairdryer were provided. I personally opted to use my own toiletries that I brought from home.

I tried to use a shower filter I bought, but it didn't fit the showerhead. However, even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major issues using the hotel's showerhead, which was a pleasant surprise!

The hairdryer, despite its compact size, was surprisingly powerful and dried my hair quickly.

Who Should Stay at Weixianglai Hotel Dalian?

The Weixianglai Hotel Dalian, being an apartment-style accommodation, offers a unique experience.

While not equipped for full cooking, the spacious table made it incredibly convenient to order takeout and enjoy meals in the comfort of my room. Furthermore, its generous space, much larger than a typical hotel room, makes it an excellent choice for families traveling together.
