Let's Dive into Parndorf Outlet: A Gem Near Vienna!

Finding Your Way to Parndorf Outlet

Parndorf Outlet is conveniently located about a 50-minute drive from Vienna's city center.

I actually made a stop here on my way to Budapest! If you're renting a car and heading east, it's the perfect spot to break up your journey and explore a bit.

They have a **huge free parking lot**, which made visiting by car super convenient!

Since the parking lot is as massive as the outlet itself, here's a tip: it's much easier to **find the location of the brands you want to visit first**, and *then* look for a parking spot nearby.

If you're planning to use public transport, prepare for a bit of a walk. However, there's a **shuttle bus that runs directly to the outlet**, so I highly recommend taking it if you're making a day trip out of it!

I suggest taking the **round-trip shuttle bus departing from Opernring 3 in Vienna (near the Opera House)**, which takes you directly to Parndorf Outlet.

Parndorf Outlet: All the Details You Need

1. Score Big: Parndorf Outlet Guest Discount Coupons

Good news! Parndorf Outlet also offers **special guest-exclusive coupons for international visitors**. Even better, you can **check them directly on their website** – no need to trek to the information desk!

If you sign up for McArthurGlen membership via email,

you can check out brands eligible for extra discounts.

Even on the way to the Guest Services Center,

you can find QR codes related to McArthurGlen membership.

Not all brands offer additional discounts,

so it's recommended to check beforehand and plan your shopping itinerary.

The outlet is larger than I expected,

so if you're visiting in summer, to conserve energy,

make sure to check brand locations and plan your route well.

2. Brands at Parndorf Outlet

At Parndorf Outlet, the parking lots are designed

to surround the brand stores.

I parked thoughtlessly in the first parking lot I saw,

in front of Gucci and BOSS,

and the walk was quite long and tiring.

While it might vary depending on the brands you want to shop at,

it seems better to park near the shuttle bus stop

for a more convenient route.

Parndorf Outlet, a large outlet home to over 160 brands,

was filled with both European and global brands.

It's worth noting that many Korean visitors, in particular, come to Parndorf Outlet

for luxury brand shopping.

Luxury Brands

Gucci, making its presence known right from the parking lot!

The Gucci store at Parndorf Outlet was also

very crowded, with a queue to get in.

Next door, the BOSS store was also very large,

and it seemed very popular in Europe.

They say Prada is a specialty at Parndorf Outlet,

so I also took a look, wondering if I should buy a card wallet or a mini bag.

However, it was difficult to browse freely due to the crowds.

Also, the prices weren't as cheap as I expected.

Besides these, there were also various brands like Moschino, Burberry, Armani, etc.,

but I couldn't explore them all due to time constraints.

Another popular item often bought at Parndorf Outlet

was Longchamp.

It was a bit tricky to find on the outlet map,

but once I found Hugo, it was right next door!

The Longchamp store was also one of the busiest spots.

There were a lot of Korean and Chinese shoppers, in particular.

More than anything else, the foldable Le Pliage style

caught my eye with its array of colors and sizes.

A medium-sized bag in a neutral color was 125 Euros,

and I really debated whether to buy it or not,

but I figured I wouldn't carry it often, so I passed.

The Le Pliage bags were roughly priced

between 100 and 130 Euros, depending on size and color.

Personally, with the Euro exchange rate being so high,

I decided there wasn't much of a price advantage.

Jewelry and Watch Brands

Feeling a bit disappointed that Prada and Longchamp didn't quite meet my expectations,

I then checked out Pandora and Swarovski.

Many people buy charms at Pandora as travel souvenirs,

but I don't really wear bracelets, so I decided to skip it.

Finally, I visited Swarovski, a brand hailing from Austria,

with high hopes.

More than necklaces or bracelets, I really wanted a ring,

so I tried on various pieces and browsed around.

I considered buying a Swarovski ring instead of my diamond ring, which I rarely wear because it's uncomfortable,

but I found that Korean outlets were actually cheaper due to the Euro exchange rate.

Still, I lingered, clinging to a glimmer of hope,

and asked a staff member if there were any models exclusive to Austria.

They told me there weren't any.

If you're considering buying Swarovski,

make sure to compare prices using the model number before purchasing.

Besides jewelry, there were also various European watch brands,

but I'm not particularly interested in watches, so I didn't browse them.

Casual Brands

Usually when I visit international outlets, I often look at casual brands and

sports brands.

However, since the Euro is so expensive, global brands

The prices felt even more expensive, surprisingly.

So, I mainly browsed through European casual brands

and then left.

After discovering the Lacoste store, which my husband loves,

I browsed with high hopes since there were even extra discounts.

The prices didn't feel incredibly cheap.

While the last few items were reasonably priced,

I didn't find anything I particularly liked.

Sports & Outdoor Brands

Since I came all this way, I really wanted to buy something,

but I was disappointed because neither the prices nor the products caught my eye.

Then, I stumbled upon the Arc'teryx store!

I went in just to browse, and guess what? Their GORE-TEX jackets were on a 40-50% sale!

With the weather drizzling outside,

finding rain-ready jackets on sale was thrilling,

so I tried on a bunch of different ones.

The discount rates varied slightly by design and color,

so I tried on several and pondered my options.

In the end, I definitely ended up buying something!

At 280 Euro for a long jacket, it was still pricey,

but compared to Korean prices, it was even cheaper than half price,

and after getting the tax refund, I felt like I scored an amazing deal!

3. Parndorf Outlet Facilities

Parndorf Outlet also had a variety of restaurants and cafes,

perfect for taking a break while shopping.

Feeling a bit peckish and thirsty,

I had a hot dog and a Coke Slurpee at Burger King,

but I definitely don't recommend the hot dog – it was terrible!!

The Coke Slurpee, however, was cool and sweet,

a perfect instant sugar rush that I really enjoyed.

There are also food stores like Haribo (a popular souvenir purchase),

Lindt, and Manner, so

keep them in mind for souvenir shopping!

I still had a lot of my trip left,

so I couldn't buy anything here, worried it would just become extra luggage.

Important Notes for Tax-Free Shopping in Austria

In Austria, if you spend 75 Euro or more at a single store,

you can get a tax refund of 10-20%.

When making a payment, remember to present your passport at the store where you made your purchase

and get your tax-free forms.

They say you can process tax-free documents directly at Parndorf Outlet and just submit them at the airport,

but on the day I visited, there were too many people waiting,

so I only collected the forms from the Arc'teryx store

and processed them at the airport on my departure day.
