Getting to Fiero Restaurant
📍 Fiero Restaurant
Rennweg 87, 1030 Vienna, Austria
Fiero Restaurant is located in Vienna's 3rd district,
which means it's a bit further from the Inner Ring
where most major tourist attractions are clustered.
There are many great value-for-money hotels nearby,
so if you're staying in the area, definitely give it a visit!
The restaurant doesn't have its own parking lot, and you'd have to use paid street parking nearby,
so I don't recommend visiting by car.
There's a bus stop for line 71 right in front of the restaurant,
making public transport a good option. However,
on a European trip where time is precious,
I recommend considering your overall itinerary before visiting.

the hotel I stayed at during my Vienna trip!

1. How to Make a Reservation
You can make reservations for Fiero Restaurant directly through Google Maps.

I loved that it wasn't a separate booking fee or a redirection to another site;
you could simply choose your visit date and time
directly within Google Maps.
Since I planned to visit on my first day in Vienna, I wasn't sure how things would go, so I didn't make a reservation.
Even without one, it wasn't crowded, which was perfectly fine.
If you're planning to visit during peak meal times in high season,
I recommend making a reservation. Otherwise,
simply walking in should be fine.
2. Ambiance

As I was walking, I paused to admire a magnificent horse-drawn carriage,
Right in front was Pierrot Restaurant.
There were also outdoor seats right in front of the restaurant,
allowing you to soak in that European travel romance.

The interior was also decorated quite lavishly,
and it seemed like a fantastic spot for taking photos.
When I visited, there wasn't a single soul around,
but after a 12-hour flight, I was in a daze,
so I was sad I couldn't capture any beautiful photos.
3. The Menu

Based on reviews, I thought they only had wood-fired pizzas,
but it turns out they offer a variety of other dishes too.
As a place that's open late into the evening,
they also offered a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages.
With simple salads and starter menus available,
it seems like a great spot to pop in for a late-night drink.

As expected from a pizza specialty restaurant with a large oven in the store,
the pizza menu was the most diverse,
and since the ingredients were all explained,
it wasn't difficult to choose.

Beyond pizza, there are also meal options like pasta and risotto,
which are great for a full meal.
For pasta, you can choose the type of noodle,
and there's an option to add chicken or shrimp.

In addition, they sell a variety of other menus, including burgers, fried dishes, and snacks.
Delivery is also available until late at night,
so if you're battling jet lag and feeling peckish in Vienna late at night,
keep in mind that you can also use online delivery sites connected to Google Maps.
4. My Ordered Dishes Review

I had held off sleeping on the plane to adjust to the time difference,
so dinner was incredibly tiring.
I just had a light glass of white wine with my meal.

The dishes I chose were Bolognese Penne Pasta and
a Funghi Pizza – a truly delicious combination!

The pizza, topped with plenty of mushrooms on a tomato sauce base,
was savory and absolutely delicious.
They serve the pizza with garlic sauce and chili oil,
and that garlic sauce is an absolute game-changer!
When eaten together, it wasn't greasy at all and was so good that
it was perfect even without Tabasco or chili oil.

The Bolognese pasta was packed with meat sauce,
and it had that familiar, comforting taste.
They served it with cheese, so I sprinkled it on top and mixed it in.

The pasta bowl was quite deep,
and the portion size was surprisingly generous.
Ultimately, the two of us couldn't finish everything, and there was a bit of pizza left.
We got the leftover pizza packed up and enjoyed it at our hotel the next day.
The staff were incredibly friendly,
and both the pizza and pasta offered great value for the price, with generous portions.
I highly recommend this spot, especially for those who appreciate flavors that suit the Korean palate!
