I recently revisited Uiwang Wangsong Lake Park (의왕 왕송호수공원), a stunning pink muhly spot near Suwon (수원), this year with my 6-month-old baby. I had first explored this beautiful area a couple of years ago.

Uiwang (의왕) is a fantastic spot to witness the captivating pink muhly fields!
This time, we opted to take the subway to reach this beautiful destination. To get there, simply exit Uiwang Station (의왕역) at Exit 1 and enjoy a pleasant 20-minute walk to the pink muhly fields.
You can easily find the location by searching for "Uiwang Lotus" (로터스) or "Grande" (그란데).
The building houses Cafe Lotus (로터스) on the second floor and Grande Restaurant (그란데) on the third floor, so you can use either name for navigation. Regarding parking, there's a small public parking lot in front, but it's quite limited. While there's a slight shoulder near the pink muhly fields, it can get very crowded on weekend afternoons, making parking a challenge. Be aware that roadside parking is subject to tickets, so plan accordingly!
A quick note for families: strollers are only allowed up to the entrance of the flower fields. You'll see a line of pink wagons and strollers "parked" there, just like ours!
When we visited, the cosmos flowers were already past their prime and couldn't be found as of 10/09/2026. However, this year, Uiwang's pink muhly spot also featured beautiful buckwheat flowers!

This time, we timed our visit to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely stunning! I highly recommend visiting during this time for breathtaking views. Plus, there are fewer crowds, which means you can capture some truly serene photos.

As we exited the pink muhly fields, we briefly stopped by the buckwheat field nearby. It had a lovely photo zone set up with a blue striped parasol, where we snapped some memorable pictures. Uiwang Wangsong Lake (왕송호수) pink muhly spot is a fantastic destination for a casual day out!
