The Tsubaki Tower
Guam's premier luxury 6-star hotel

Hello everyone! This is Lee Geung :)
Following my previous post about the Southern Guam tour, today I'm bringing you a review of 'The Tsubaki Tower' – the highlight of our Guam trip and our family's second accommodation.
From the incredibly comfortable room conditions that made every penny of the stay worthwhile, to our well-planned itinerary for enjoying the pool and private beach with our baby, and even successful local breakfast spots we discovered instead of the hotel's – plus some amazing tips – I've packed it all in, so please read to the end! ❤️
1. Every Room is Ocean View! 'Camellia Room' Condition & Minibar Hot Tips

The Tsubaki Tower's biggest strengths, without a doubt, are its 'all-ocean-view rooms' and 'expansive balconies.' The moment you open the door, a breathtaking view of Tumon Beach unfolds, and it truly takes your breath away.

The standard Camellia Room I stayed in, while it doesn't include Club Lounge benefits (unlike the Camellia Club Room), offers a completely free minibar with drinks, beer, and snacks in the fridge! Being able to enjoy them without worrying about extra charges was a small detail that brought great satisfaction.

Excluding the bed area, the room features hardwood flooring, so our 23-month-old baby could safely walk around barefoot. The room itself is so spacious that even with a stroller and several large suitcases spread out, it never felt cramped.

The balcony is incredibly spacious! Tucking our child into bed and then enjoying a beer with my husband on the balcony at night was the happiest part of our stay.
2. Things to Consider When Booking The Tsubaki Tower, Guam

When booking The Tsubaki Tower, I weighed my options between the Camellia Room and the Camellia Club Room. Since we had our child with us, we thought the Club Lounge might be difficult to utilize. We also decided to try a local breakfast spot, so we booked the Camellia Room.
📌 Good news! Club Room guests get complimentary breakfast until March 2027!!

If I had to mention two things I wished were different during our stay, one is that The Tsubaki Tower offers various complimentary guest programs, but most are for children aged 2 and up, haha.

Also, make sure to try the Tsubaki Casa Oceano Dinner Buffet! Guests of The Tsubaki Tower Hotel can get a 15% discount. I've heard its quality surpasses many other dinner buffets in Guam, so it's definitely worth checking out.

When booking accommodation, the price range and room options are always big considerations, right? Comparing it to when I was researching, prices were generally around these figures:
Camellia Room (Standard) | Camellia Room with Breakfast | Camellia Club Room |
~$328 | ~$416 | ~$445 |
Recommended if you want to enjoy the free minibar benefits while getting both value and practicality! | Recommended if you want to leisurely enjoy everything from breakfast to afternoon tea and evening cocktails (unlimited alcoholic beverages) at the top-floor lounge! |
The prices tend to fluctuate quite a bit depending on your schedule, so it's smartest to compare them in advance once your travel dates are set. I highly recommend checking the available room rates and any remaining discounts directly on the booking platforms below!

3. Dive into Tsubaki's Infinity Pool & Kids' Zone

The Tsubaki Tower's main pool is famously known for its stunning infinity pool, which feels like it seamlessly blends with the ocean.

I initially thought it would be a place mainly for adults, but to my pleasant surprise, there's also a wonderfully well-equipped area for babies!

Dedicated kids' zones are set up both inside and outside the infinity pool! The pool depth is only ankle-deep, so my child, Yiseo, could splash and play safely.

Beach beds are free to use, and they provide infant life vests and arm floats, which helps lighten your luggage a bit. (You can also bring and use your own baby float seats!)

✨ Nighttime Fountain Show Viewing

At night, the pool hosts a spectacular fountain show, and it was absolutely perfect for lounging on a sunbed, watching, and soaking in the atmosphere.
4. Explore Nikko Hotel Pools & 'Gun Beach' Ocean Adventure

Here's another huge perk of The Tsubaki Tower! As a guest, you get to use the pools and private beach (Gun Beach) of the adjacent 'Hotel Nikko' too!

You can easily reach the Hotel Nikko pool by taking a free buggy car (electric cart) from The Tsubaki Tower lobby or by walking down the scenic pathway. We chose to walk with our child for a stroll, and it was lovely because the surroundings were so beautiful.

The Nikko pool features water slides and a spacious kids' pool, so you can enjoy a more dynamic and exciting water play experience there!

Right in front of the Nikko pool is 'Gun Beach,' famous for its coral and crystal-clear waters. As it's a private beach, there were no crowds, and the water was so clear—it was truly beautiful. I even thought to myself, "Next time, staying only at Nikko and Tsubaki would be fantastic, haha!"

After swimming, we simply walked out to play in the sand and dip our feet in the ocean, making the most of our time. (Both hotels conveniently allow you to freely borrow towels!)

📌 The Tsubaki Tower Guam: Overall Review for Stays with Babies

While the cost might be a bit higher, it was a staycation with absolutely no regrets, thanks to the pristine hardwood floor room conditions and complimentary minibar! Plus, you get to enjoy the Tsubaki infinity pool, Hotel Nikko's pools, and Gun Beach all in one convenient itinerary.

If you're planning a clean, relaxed, and luxurious trip to Guam with your baby, this will be an excellent choice. ❤️
