Tribe Phuket Patong Review 2026: Affordable Stay Near the Beach

For my Phuket trip, for accommodation near Patong Beach,

I recently visited the newly opened hotel Tribe, which debuted in '25.

I'm excited to introduce you to a fantastic value-for-money accommodation in Phuket,

offering a clean, spacious room, a beautiful pool, all for around ~$58 per night,

and just a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach! :)

Tribe Hotel

Tribe Hotel is a mid-scale hotel part of the Accor group,

and it's a brand-new hotel built in '25 in Phuket.

Its accessibility is fantastic, being just a 10-minute walk from Patong Beach.

The hotel has a clean and trendy vibe.

With great interior design and excellent value for money, it seems perfectly tailored for the 20s-30s demographic.

You can book it on Agoda for around ~$51 per night, and with taxes included, it's in the ~$66 range,

meaning you can get it for less than ~$73!

Adding breakfast brings it to just over ~$73,

and I highly recommend it – the menu is diverse and delicious!

Grab a quick breakfast and then head straight to Patong Beach.

Tribe Hotel

• Check-in: 3pm / Check-out: 12pm

• Breakfast: 6:30am ~ 10:30am

• Gym: 24 hours

• Pool: 7am ~ 8pm

The flexible check-in/out times are convenient,

and having a 24-hour gym is a huge plus.

Right next to the lobby on the first floor, there's a restaurant.

You can enjoy breakfast there in the morning,

and it transforms into a pub at night.

The restaurant is spacious and pleasant,

with large windows letting in plenty of natural light.

It made breakfast feel delightful.

And at night, it transforms into a cocktail bar! 🍹

The 1st floor houses the lobby and restaurant,

the 2nd floor has the gym and swimming pool,

and guest rooms start from the 3rd floor.

The hotel isn't very large, with only 7 floors in total.

This means the restaurant isn't overly crowded,

Pool View King Room

• 2 single beds (extra bed added)

We booked a King Room with a pool view.

The standard room comes with 2 single beds,

but we added an extra bed, and they set it up by the window.

Even with the extra bed, the room was spacious enough,

and we didn't feel inconvenienced at all.

Can easily open 3 suitcases

And inside the room, there's an open closet.

You'll find water bottles prepared for the number of guests, and even a coffee machine.

Bathroom

A club? A bar? Nope, it's not that,

It really is a bathroom.

I was a bit taken aback at first.

But there were absolutely no issues using the bathroom,

and the more I saw it, the more I got used to it, you know?

While there isn't a bathtub,

it's clean and has everything you need, so it was perfectly fine.

And looking down, you can see the swimming pool!​

I wasn't expecting much from the pool, but it's actually quite pretty, isn't it? 🩵

Even prettier and more spacious than I imagined,

And the Phuket city view visible from the window.

Unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so we couldn't see the beautiful sunset.

I imagine the sunset view would be absolutely stunning too.

And if you open the blue door by the bed and step inside,

you'll discover a hidden space like this!

It's a mini terrace, and it's absolutely perfect for drying swimwear or other water play gear here.

I was extremely satisfied with this accommodation on Patong Beach, Phuket.

This was my honest, self-funded review of Tribe Hotel.

With its great value for money and excellent accessibility,

if you're looking for a budget-friendly yet fantastic place to stay on Patong Beach, Phuket,

I think you'll be incredibly satisfied! Haha.

If the Phuket Hyatt I visited just before this trip

was perfect for a relaxing resort-style 'hocance' (hotel vacation),

then Tribe, with its hip and casual vibe,

is ideal for exploring Patong Beach and all the famous tourist spots while enjoying your stay.

You can pick one that suits your style,

or even better, stay at both places like I did!

It was fantastic to enjoy both relaxation and sightseeing.
