It's been a while since my last Singapore post! 🩷
If you're traveling to Singapore, one spot you absolutely can't miss
is the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Just like the famous hotel,
the shopping mall itself is absolutely jaw-dropping in scale,
renowned for its endless array of incredible shops.
From Bacha Coffee, which is currently topping everyone's souvenir shopping lists,
to the best places to pick up local gifts,
and some honest reviews of the top restaurants in Marina Bay Sands Mall—
I'll share everything you need to know, so stay tuned!
1. Toast Box

Kaya toast spread with sweet coconut jam is an absolute must-try
and one of Singapore's most iconic bites.

While there are plenty of spots to get your kaya toast fix,
one of the absolute classics is "Toast Box."
They have branches all over the city,
and luckily, there's one right inside the Marina Bay Sands Mall!

Since I was staying at the hotel, I popped by to grab some toast
to enjoy as a quick snack in my room.

But besides their signature Kaya Toast,
they also offer a wide variety of breads,
along with local Singaporean favorites like Laksa and Nasi Lemak,
making it a fantastic and affordable spot for a full meal.

Even though I ordered mine to go so I could eat in my room,
the restaurant itself is incredibly clean, spacious, and perfect for dining in.
They even have an open kitchen on one side,
which lets you see the whole preparation process—super reassuring! 🎵

On one side of the shop, they sell jars of Kaya Jam,
which is a total classic Singaporean souvenir. If you're looking for gifts to bring back,
picking up a few jars here is a fantastic idea!
2. Ippudo
You might be thinking, "Why Japanese ramen all of a sudden?"...
But I suddenly had the most intense craving for gyoza and noodles.

At first, the obvious choice was "Din Tai Fung,"
but since my next destination after Singapore was Taiwan...
I decided to save the dim sum for the original branch in Taiwan
and headed straight to Ippudo, located near the basement food court!

There's a QR code at every table,
making it super easy to order right from your seat.

My choice? Classic Tonkotsu Ramen and a side of Gyoza.

Sadly, they didn't have any set menus available,
so I had to order them individually... and wow, the price was... pretty brutal! lol

Well... I guess Japanese food being expensive in Singapore is to be expected! 😂

Still, the flavor wasn't much different from what you'd get in Japan.
The noodles were cooked to absolute perfection, and the broth was so rich and deep—seriously delicious! 💞
3. HEYTEA
Now that we’ve had a hearty bowl of ramen,
it’s time for some dessert, right?!!!

Recommended by Hana, whose sister actually lives in Singapore,
this spot was none other than "HEYTEA"

Hana repeatedly insisted that if you're at Marina Bay Sands, you absolutely MUST go to HEYTEA,
so following her advice,
we headed straight to the HEYTEA located on the floor right above...
What is up with this line?!!! This is clearly a certified hot spot in Singapore!
Since we were staying overnight at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel,
we spent two days exploring the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands,
and HEYTEA had a line wrapped around it no matter what time of day it was! 👍🏻

There's a QR code on one side of the store,
so a great pro-tip is to scan it, place your order first,
and then browse the mall until your drinks are ready!
But wait... despite it being a top Marina Bay Sands spot,
I totally failed with my order. ^^

Hahaha, seriously...
Everyone recommended their legendary "bubble tea,"
but what on earth was I thinking? I ordered this berry-loaded,
acai-like drink instead... lol.

Guys... please stick to the milk tea! Hahaha.
When I texted Hana about it later,
she confirmed that their bubble tea is indeed the absolute star of the show. 😂
4. Bacha Coffee
If you had to name one of the absolute hottest brands in Singapore right now,
it definitely has to be Bacha Coffee...

They say practically everyone leaving Singapore
has one of their signature shopping bags in hand.
Since it's so incredibly famous, Dalgam and I just had to run over and check it out!

First off, the entire boutique was dazzlingly bright with gold and vibrant orange...
It was so incredibly flashy that it felt a tiny bit overwhelming, haha.
Since it's famously known as the 'Hermè*s of Coffee,'
it definitely seems like they are benchmarking that iconic luxury orange color scheme.

You'll probably see a massive crowd waiting out front.
The line on the left is usually for takeout,
so if you have some time to spare, I highly recommend opting for the dine-in experience.

As we were guided to our table by the staff,
even the tableware looked incredibly chic and upscale—vibes on point!

Looking at the menu... honestly, it was so massive and complex that I had no idea what to choose;;
So I just asked the staff to recommend a sweet, floral coffee,
and ordered a mille-feuille to pair with it...

To be completely honest, I didn't really get the hype about the coffee...
Maybe it's because I usually prefer super sweet coffee drinks,
but I couldn't really tell why it's called the 'Hermè*s of Coffee'...
aside from the premium price tag, that is.
Who knows... maybe true coffee aficionados would appreciate it much more?

But honestly, the bakery items are next-level delicious.
Since we visited pretty late, there weren't many options left,
but looking at the photos, the other cakes look absolutely divine.
You should definitely order some desserts to go with your drinks!

I heard that popular items are often sold out at the airport duty-free shops,
so buying your gifts ahead of time at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
before you head out is a great tip!!
5. Bath & Body Works
Another souvenir that is just as popular as Kaya jam and Bacha Coffee is
"Bath & Body Works"

Since you can get them at great prices in Singapore,
many people buy them as quick, easy gifts.
It was right next door as we were heading out after eating at Ippudo,
so we popped in to take a look.

The packaging is so bright and colorful,
and they have a massive variety of bath and body products,
making them perfect, easy gifts for friends and family.
*Personally, I usually avoid gifting scented products because fragrance preferences can be so subjective,
but surprisingly, a lot of people actually love receiving bath and body gifts!

Most products have testers available, so you can try out the scents
and find your favorites before purchasing.

They often run great sales,
and pocket hand sanitizers like these are super affordable,
so if you're looking for budget-friendly gifts for your acquaintances,
it's definitely worth checking out!
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a mall on a whole different scale,
so there are tons of other famous restaurants besides the ones I mentioned.
From classic chili crab to restaurants by celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay.
Honestly, the only issue is not having enough time to try them all—
the wish list is endless!
So, checking out the dining options on the official Marina Bay Sands website
and listing your must-visit spots beforehand
is a highly efficient way to navigate the mall.

They sell signature items like Kaya Toast, as well as iconic Singaporean dishes such as Laksa and Nasi Lemak. It has an open kitchen in the store, making it a great place to dine, and you can also purchase kaya jam as gifts.
They do not sell set menus, so you must order items like Tonkotsu Ramen and Gyoza separately a la carte. You can order directly from your seat using the QR code provided on each table.
We recommend scanning the QR code placed on one side of the store to order in advance. You can reduce your wait time by browsing the shopping mall after ordering and returning to the store when your drink is almost ready.
The line on the left in front of the store is usually for takeout only, so if you want to dine in, you should wait for a staff member to guide you to a seat. Also, since popular items often sell out at duty-free shops, it is a good idea to buy your gift items here in advance.
It is located right next to the Ippudo store near the basement food court. Samples are available for most products so you can try the scents yourself, and they frequently hold their own sales.
