As you can see, flights to Bangkok

are noticeably cheaper than the other cities.

Given its immense popularity and status as a major international hub,

the sheer volume of daily flights drives the prices down.

For Bangkok, if you're willing to spend just ~$77 more,

you can upgrade from a budget airline to a full-service carrier.

While AirAsia sometimes shows base fares around ~$150,

once you add checked baggage, the total jumps back up to ~$230.

So, there's not always a huge incentive to fly budget unless you're traveling extremely light.

However, if you utilize the Trip.com flash sale,

you can sometimes score full-service seats with baggage included

for under ~$230!

If you manage to grab one of the

For the Asiana direct flights,

checked baggage is fully included.
