Sukishi Phuket Jungceylon Review 2026: Is It Worth It?
Looking for a quick bite at Jungceylon, Phuket? We stumbled upon Sukishi Korean Charcoal Grill. Here is our honest take on this popular BBQ spot.
We were wandering around the Jungceylon Shopping Center in Patong, Phuket, looking for a place to grab dinner.
Nothing in particular was catching our eye, and we couldn't decide what to eat. That's when we spotted a Korean BBQ spot called Sukishi and decided to give it a try.

Sukishi Location

You can easily find Sukishi on the second floor of the Jungceylon Shopping Center—just take the escalator up one floor from the ground level.

Honestly, I should have checked the Google reviews before walking in. Looking at them now, they are surprisingly low—sitting at around a 2.4-star rating! I wonder what went wrong for other diners.
Having eaten there without knowing about the bad reviews, my personal take is that it really wasn't that bad. Aside from the service being a bit on the slower side, I’d easily give it at least a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Before heading inside, we checked out the standing menu board. It was incredibly cluttered and chaotic. While you expect a bit of design chaos when traveling abroad, this layout was definitely a visual overload!
Interior

The interior is quite spacious. Although it's advertised as a "Korean Charcoal Grill," the setup is actually much closer to a Japanese yakiniku style rather than a traditional Korean BBQ with a massive tabletop grill.

The grill itself is fairly small—almost perfect for a solo diner. Since there were two of us, we had to keep loading meat onto the grill constantly to avoid any awkward dining pauses.
Menu Options

Looking at the menu, they offer different tiers like Premium and Silver, with a pretty significant price gap between them. The top tier is 1,399 THB per person, which is roughly ~$40.

They also have Rose Gold and Gold tiers. Since the prices were higher than we anticipated, we just opted for the basic Silver tier. As you go up in tiers, you get premium cuts of meat and a wider variety of seafood. But for two hungry guys, quantity over premium quality was the way to go!

There is a strict 1.5-hour time limit. It’s not overly rushed, but it’s just enough time to eat your fill. However, because it takes about 5 to 10 minutes for your orders to arrive, the golden rule here is to order in bulk right from the start!

Here is the receipt from our visit back in September 2025. Drinks were ordered separately, and the total bill for two people came out to 1,426 THB (approx. ~$41), including VAT.

Ordering is super easy and contactless. You just scan the QR code on your table and select your items directly on your phone.

Wait, what? I thought they made a mistake when they brought out the lettuce wrap plate. Just two leaves? Haha! We quickly realized how they play the game—challenge accepted!

We went ahead and ordered one of every single meat option available. We built a literal tower of meat plates to kick off our feast.

Most of the options are thinly sliced pork belly cuts. The main differences are the marinades—some are plain, others are glazed with a sweet sauce or spicy gochujang. Pro tip: start with the unmarinated meats first, as the sweet sauces will burn on the grill very quickly.

Of all the cuts we tried, the pork belly wrapped around enoki mushrooms was easily the best. Once you sample everything, just keep hitting order on your favorite items through the app.

The fried shrimp looked a bit dry at first glance, but they actually turned out to be quite decent and crispy.

The Kimchi Jjigae (stew) is definitely a hit-or-miss. For me, it was way too sweet on the very first spoonful, so I passed. My friend, however, loved it and ended up polishing off the entire bowl by himself!

The charcoal starts out strong but loses its heat over time, so speed is key. Make sure to master the art of multi-tasking: keep grilling and ordering more plates simultaneously to keep the momentum going.

For dessert, they have ice cream which you can also order via the QR code. It was a nice, refreshing finish. My friend enjoyed it so much he ordered three different flavors!

That sums up our experience at Sukishi Korean Charcoal Grill inside Jungceylon.
If you look up the Google reviews, they are quite brutal—ranging from complaints about slow service to food poisoning scares. However, if you want to play it safe, I'd suggest avoiding raw seafood or raw egg sauces. Stick to well-cooked meats, and you should have a perfectly fine dining experience. No need to be too intimidated!
