Starting from ~$207 in the off-season,

with the amazing feature that all rooms are private pool villas!

Even the standard rooms (around ~$207) are pool villas,

and the room interiors are fantastic.

It's near Bang Tao Beach, but the only downside (if you can call it that?) is that it's not directly beachfront;

you'll need to go a bit further inland.

However, Shambala Grand Villas Phuket already has

everything you need

right inside the resort.

2. Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Hotel

[Phuket Bang Tao] / Beachfront

Starting from ~$163 in the off-season

The common facilities (= swimming pool) are great,

but the room interiors are just okay...

Not spacious, but the terrace view is lush and green.

3. Twinpalms Tented Camp Phuket

[Phuket Bang Tao] / Beachfront

Located on Phuket's Bangtao Beach, this place is incredibly unique

and an absolutely fantastic place to stay.

Twinpalms Tented Camp Phuket Hotel

Room rates start from around ~$163

It's a beautiful accommodation that blends authentic Thai style with a mix of wood and modern elements,

making it truly stunning.

Even the standard rooms are lovely and spacious.

It connects directly to the beach,

so being able to stroll along Phuket Beach right in front is a huge plus.

First off, the room interiors are fantastic,

and I absolutely love that every room is designed as a private villa.

It's a place I fell in love with at first sight.

What I personally love even more are the lagoon pool access rooms – they are absolutely

so incredibly Phuket-like yet unique, which is amazing.

During the low season, you can upgrade for an additional ~$15 to ~$52 compared to the standard rooms.

4. SAii Laguna Phuket Hotel

[Phuket Bangtao] / Beachfront

This hotel has risen in the ranks as an Instagram-worthy view spot in Phuket.

During the low season, prices start from ~$200.

However... the ~$200 rooms look like this....

While the room interiors are neat,

and the window/terrace views are indeed refreshing,

Honestly, for that price,

I'd probably skip the standard rooms at this hotel. ???

However, SAii Laguna Phuket Hotel's

'Lagoon View Rooms' are on the first floor and

open up to the outdoors, offering a refreshing feel, so from these rooms onwards, it starts to look quite appealing.

During the low season, you'll need to add ~$22 to ~$37 more.

At SAii Laguna Phuket Hotel,

the Terrace Rooms, which are quite decent, start from around ~$229.

As expected from a large 5-star hotel, the public facilities are excellent, and the private beach is wonderful.

5. Twinpalms Surin Beach Hotel

[Bangtao ~ Kamala] / Beachfront

This is the Twinpalms Surin Beach Phuket hotel, nestled between Bangtao Beach and Kamala Beach.

During the low season, prices start from the ~$148 range.

With a fantastic location, and as expected from a 5-star hotel with such a grand scale,

the pool is superb, and the common facilities are truly amazing.

However,

the basic room, costing ~$148... hmm.

What is this...?

Honestly, the interior of the basic room isn't really my style, but

the fact that it has a terrace garden is still pretty nice.

If you want to find a genuinely good and satisfying room

at Twinpalms Surin Beach Hotel,

it's best to choose from the loft rooms or penthouse suites,

which cost at least twice the price of a basic room during the low season.

But the bigger the room, the more incredibly amazing the room conditions get, and

many rooms offer direct pool access and even private pools!

If you're coming with a group,

or looking for a place for a relaxed family stay, this place comes highly recommended!

6. Kalima Resort Phuket

[North of Patong, Phuket] / Beachfront

This is the Kalima Resort Hotel, located beachfront, just slightly north of Patong, which is Phuket's hotspot and the best area for clubbing.

During the low season, basic rooms start from ~$96.

However...

Here's what the basic rooms at Kalima Resort Phuket look like.

It almost feels like a hotel from Nami Island.

So, if you want to book a room that you'll truly love,

I recommend starting with guest rooms that offer direct pool access, like these.

I'm not sure why, but the interiors of Kalima Resort Phuket's pool-access rooms also seem to be

a bit more stylish(?).

Between the basic rooms and the pool-access rooms, which start from ~$222 during the low season,

there are also sea-view rooms like these.

The sea view is great, but

the room's interior condition... I personally didn't like it.

7. Lalin Resort Phuket

[Inland, next to Bangtao Beach]

This place strikes a great balance between value for money, a decent hotel experience, and a good location, with prices starting from ~$44 during the off-peak season.

However, the room interiors are just okay.

BUT!!!

The biggest strength of Lalin Resort Phuket is this:

From the most affordable basic rooms, they all connect directly to the pool,

offering pool access!

8. Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket

[Kamala Beach] / Beachfront

This 5-star Phuket hotel is located on Kamala Beach,

starting from ~$89 during the off-peak season, making it a pretty well-priced hotel.

However, the standard rooms look like this,

The next room type is the tropical view room,

where the terrace connects directly outside, giving a wonderful sense of openness!

Still, you can have a pretty satisfying stay even inside the room???

(This is my personal opinion)

For rooms like these, you'd need to pay an additional ~$74 during the off-peak season.

These are the pool access rooms.

The rooms at Thavorn Beach Village Hotel Phuket are spacious and feature an authentic Thai local style.

9. The Slate Hotel

[Nai Yang, Near Airport] / Beachfront

This hotel has been selected as an Instagram hotspot!

During the off-peak season, prices start from ~$207.

The surrounding tree scenery is beautiful, and the room interiors are spacious.

It seems the actual experience is even better than the photos!

10. Mandarava Resort and Spa Karon Beach

[Phuket Karon Beach] / Beachfront

First off, the rooms are spacious,

and it's a hotel located right by Phuket's Karon Beach.

Rooms start from ~$96 during the off-peak season, but

the basic rooms don't really feel like they offer much in terms of special benefits...

At the very least, you might want to consider the Horizon Grand Deluxe rooms, or

even though they're double the price, choosing a Pool Access room seems like a great option!
