Phuket Airport Hotel Review: 24/7 Free Shuttle & Resort Vibe
Discover why Phuket Airport Hotel is the ultimate layover spot. With a 24/7 free shuttle, spotless rooms, and a tropical pool, start your trip right!
Finding the perfect quick overnight stay
near Phuket Airport
While there are plenty of options for a quick layover near the airport,
finding one that actually offers a reliable free shuttle service is surprisingly difficult.
After comparing countless options, the place I finally booked was
the Phuket Airport Hotel.

Even though it's located right by the airport,
it boasts a gorgeous tropical resort vibe.
But the ultimate deciding factor was their 24/7 complimentary airport pickup service,
which made booking it an absolute no-brainer.

1. Why I Chose This Hotel for a Short Layover

✅ 24/7 Free Airport Shuttle
The biggest selling point for me was definitely
the complimentary airport transfer.
When you look up hotels near Phuket Airport for a quick layover,
you'll notice that many charge extra for the shuttle,
or they simply don't operate 24 hours a day.
However, Phuket Airport Hotel offers
a reliable 24/7 free airport shuttle bus.
After landing, I messaged the hotel via WhatsApp,
and within less than 5 minutes, my ride was there!
A 24-hour pickup service is an absolute must-have
for a stress-free arrival, especially for late-night flights.

✅ Great Value & Spotless Cleanliness
While prices vary depending on your dates and room type,
you can generally expect to pay around ~$38 to ~$77 per night.
Considering it's just a quick layover spot,
the room condition is absolutely fantastic.
During my stay,
the bedding was crisp, the bathroom was spotless,
and the entire property felt incredibly well-maintained.
The staff were also super friendly,
making the start of my Phuket trip delightful.

✅ Location & Amenities
Right outside the hotel,
you'll find a 7-Eleven, cozy cafes, and massage shops.
It's incredibly convenient, even if you're only staying for a few hours.

✅ The Pool & Resort Vibe
The rooms at Phuket Airport Hotel are built
around a central swimming pool.
Even though you are just minutes from the runway,
it genuinely feels like a tropical resort.

Even for a short stay,
I loved that I could instantly get into "vacation mode".
Because the rooms surround the pool,
it feels so much more relaxing than a standard transit hotel.
It was the perfect way to kick off a tropical getaway.

2. Superior Triple Room Review
After arriving at Phuket Airport, I hopped right onto the free shuttle.
I had booked the Superior Triple Room.

The Triple Room features one double bed and one single bed,
offering plenty of space to comfortably sleep three adults.

The room was spacious enough to fully open our suitcases without tripping over them,

Since we arrived late, we quickly showered and crashed.
The bathroom was impressively large,
the shower had its own separate cubicle,
and all the basic amenities were provided.
Overall, it was a very clean and comfortable spot to rest.

Seeing the room properly the next morning confirmed my initial impressions—
the hygiene was top-notch,
and the resort atmosphere was beautifully maintained.
3. Simple Breakfast & Check-Out

We also grabbed a quick breakfast at the hotel.
They offered three menu options.

I went with the 180 THB (about ~$5) set, which included toast, coffee, and fresh fruit.
It was the perfect light bite to start the day.

Coffee and tea are available for free in the lobby.
Check-out at Phuket Airport Hotel is a generous 12:00 PM,
giving you plenty of time to relax in the morning.

You can take a morning dip in the pool,
or borrow one of their free bicycles
for a quick ride around the neighborhood.
Phuket Airport Hotel is perfect if you:
✅ Need a quick overnight stay after a late arrival in Phuket.
✅ Want a resort-style vibe rather than a sterile airport hotel.
✅ Prioritize cleanliness and great value for money.
✅ Want the convenience of a 24/7 free airport shuttle.
For a quick layover,
this hotel completely exceeded my expectations.

It's easy to dismiss a short layover stay
as just a place to crash.
But the time between check-in
and check-out
is actually quite substantial.
That's why
it's so important to look beyond just the cheapest price
and consider the cleanliness, location, amenities, and shuttle service.
Since your first night sets the tone for your entire adventure,
choosing the right hotel is crucial!
