Phuket, Thailand's peak season is from November to April,
with late December to February being the busiest period and offering the best weather.
Phuket's January weather
is like a refreshing summer, not the rainy season.

You can expect bright sunshine and the absolute best weather.

Phuket, Thailand Map/Location | Island Locations | Getting Your Bearings

Okay, to plan your Phuket, Thailand trip itinerary,
you need to understand the Phuket map, places, and locations, right?
(A little self-reflection for myself)))
So, Phuket, Thailand
is shaped like a sweet potato,
and Phuket Airport is located at the top left.
Below that, on the left side, you'll find
Naithon Beach,
Banana Beach,
Surin Beach (Surin),
Kamala Beach (Kamala),
Bang Tao Beach (Bang Tao),
Patong Beach, Patong Street (Patong),
and inland, Big Buddha,
and further south, Karon Beach (Karon).

On the right side of Phuket,
you'll find Old Phuket,
and if you go straight east from Phuket, you'll reach Krabi Island ( Krabj),
and Phi Phi Island (Phi Phi Island).

North of Phuket Airport, you'll find Similan Island (Similan Island),
and in the southwest part of Phuket, there are islands starting with 'Koh-'
clustered together.
There are many beautiful islands around Phuket,
and I've heard you can go snorkeling and yachting there.
But which island is which?
If you're curious about Phuket's island locations and names, check out the photo below!

You can see the locations of islands around Phuket at a glance, such as Phi Phi Island, Similan Islands, Surin Islands, Phang Nga Bay, Racha Island, Coral Island, and Bamboo Island.
⤵️ To quickly get to each island from Phuket by speed boat/ferry,
it's convenient to purchase boat tickets like these ⤵

I mean, if you've come to Phuket,
you absolutely have to enjoy the water in an emerald sea like this!
You can rent a yacht like this, head out to sea,
and just relax and enjoy yourself.

✔️The Similan Islands in Phuket boast beautiful waters,
lots of fish, and a high chance of encountering sea turtles.
However, the travel time is a bit longer.
You should plan for about 1.5 hours one-way.
Therefore, it's highly recommended for honeymooners or long-term travelers with flexible itineraries.
Especially, the Similan Islands in Phuket
are only open from October to April.

By the way, when you're on a yacht tour in Phuket's waters like this,
✔️For yacht photos, bikinis look better than long dresses.
✔️Bright-colored bikinis (like white or blue) seem to turn out prettier.

And when you're exploring islands like Phi Phi, Similan, and Koh Khai from Phuket,
on an island
or during a yacht excursion,
when you're taking photos,
I absolutely *love* recommending bringing along a white shirt.
It's perfect for shielding you from the sun and looks incredibly chic – everyone seems to be rocking one!

Phuket's nearby gems like Koh Khai and Koh Racha have a huge advantage: their proximity!
They're incredibly convenient and perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.

When you're snapping photos on Phuket's stunning beaches,
I think chic rattan bags and hats look absolutely gorgeous,
and a brown bikini also seems to be a beautiful choice.

Koh Khai Island, a true Phuket gem,
is just a quick 10-15 minute hop
from Phuket!
It's actually made up of several charming small islands.

While Phuket's stunning islands like Racha, Phi Phi, Similan, and Phang Nga Bay might seem similar at first glance,
they actually differ significantly in travel time and the kinds of activities they offer.
Keep these differences in mind!
✔️ Consider the travel time, whether you're eager to snorkel,
if it's a honeymoon, a family vacation, or a romantic couple's getaway,
and if there are any elderly members or young children in your group.
✔️ Based on these, you can perfectly tailor your Phuket island hopping adventure!
It's also crucial to remember that the Similan Islands are only open for about half the year, so plan accordingly!
On some tours (perhaps even those popular with honeymooners!), you might even be lucky enough to spot dolphins.

Thailand's Phuket Elephant Sanctuary |
An Ethical Elephant Sanctuary 🐘
Feed & Bathe Elephants 🐘
Explore the Elephant Sanctuary | Jungle Trekking

When you think of Thailand, majestic elephants 🐘 are often the first thing that comes to mind!
But in Phuket, you can encounter these incredible Thai elephants in an even more special way.
⤵️
No longer for elephant riding or using elephants for logging,
instead, you can see elephants up close
within the elephant sanctuary,
feed them,
and even give them a bath.
Phuket elephant experiences
sometimes have schedules that last around 2 hours,
but most often they start in the morning,
so you should carefully consider this when planning your Phuket itinerary.
🐘🇹🇭
✔️And when you go to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary,
I recommend comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

And these rattan hats in Phuket?
They look so pretty even with a long dress,
and they look nice even with a simple t-shirt.

Thailand Phuket Travel Itinerary | Night Markets
You can also explore night markets in Phuket, Thailand.

✔️Patong Night Market: 5:00 PM ~ until late
You can buy snacks and souvenirs amidst the dazzling lights.
✔️Phuket Weekend Market (Naka Market, often called "Frog Market"): 5:00 PM ~ until late
This Phuket night market is full of local atmosphere,
and has plenty of food.

✔️Rawai Seafood Market: 10:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM
Here, you can directly choose fresh Phuket seafood
and have it cooked on the spot to enjoy.
Phuket Beach Clubs
(Much better than Patong)

1. Yona beach club phuket
Phuket Yona Beach Club

If you're dreaming of a boat party
on a yacht floating on Phuket's Andaman Sea?
Then you absolutely have to visit Phuket's Yona Beach Club! 🐬

✔️During the low season, the boat is anchored near Royal Phuket Marina, as shown on the map.
During the high season, the boat is anchored near Patong Beach on the left side.
✔️An infinity pool and beach club
floating on the Phuket sea ✨✨ It's totally like the Ibiza of the East, isn't it?
(Or maybe not 😉)

They say mornings are better than afternoons!
Photos turn out much nicer in the morning,
and it's generally less crowded in the afternoon, which is why morning tickets are a bit more expensive.
✔️ During this EDC Thailand period, an official
after-party will also be held on the 19th after EDC ends!

Phuket, Thailand Travel Itinerary
| Old Phuket
Old Phuket also seems to be a popular destination in Phuket.
(I wasn't particularly interested in Old Phuket, so I didn't include photos... ;)
It's located to the east of Phuket, so if your itinerary includes visiting islands to the east,
like Phi Phi Island, Phang Nga Bay, Koh Khai, or Bamboo Island,
staying in this area could be a good idea.

Phuket's peak season runs from November to April. The period from late December to February is particularly busy and offers the best weather. January typically sees bright, refreshing summer weather.
The Similan Islands in Phuket are only open from October to April. The travel time from Phuket to the Similan Islands is approximately 1.5 hours one way.
During the off-peak season, Phuket YONA Beach Club docks its boat near Royal Phuket Marina. In the peak season, the boat is located near Patong Beach, on the west side of Phuket. Morning tickets are more expensive because photos turn out much better in the morning, and there are more people in the afternoon.
At the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, you can experience feeding and bathing the elephants. Some elephant experiences last about 2 hours, and most often start in the morning.
Phuket has Pataya Night Market, Frog Night Market, and Rawai Seafood Market. Pataya Night Market operates from 5 PM until dawn, offering snacks and souvenirs.
