Saipan is a captivating travel destination, brimming with azure seas and breathtaking natural scenery :)
With a flight time of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes
from Korea to Saipan,
it's also a highly recommended destination
for family trips or getaways with parents.
Plus, with direct flights available
from Incheon to Saipan, it's so convenient to visit.
It's truly a place where everyone can be happy,
whether you're traveling with kids or with your parents!
Today, I want to share my review of a local favorite that I recently visited:
Oleai Beach Bar & Grill.
Located right by the ocean, it's perfect for enjoying a meal with an incredible ocean view,
and if you time your visit for sunset, the views are truly spectacular.

Oleai Beach Bar & Grill is located
on Oleai Beach Road,
and it's close to Saipan World Resort.
We traveled by taxi from our Airbnb in Saipan.
Since our Airbnb's location was a bit tricky and we had already saved a local taxi driver's number when returning to our accommodation from the airport,
we opted for a local taxi and the round trip cost us $25.
Saipan taxi fares can be quite expensive, so
I highly recommend this spot for those using a rental car or staying at nearby accommodations.
With the ocean right in front,
if you time your visit for sunset,
you'll be greeted by a breathtaking sunset ocean view.
I still can't understand why Saipan's sunset isn't considered one of the world's top three sunsets...
One of the absolute best parts of my Saipan trip was being able to witness this beautiful sunset every single day.
As a scenery enthusiast, I was absolutely ecstatic!
Before coming to Oleai Beach Bar,
it had rained briefly, so I seriously debated whether to go or not from our Airbnb.
But I kept thinking, 'What would I have missed if I hadn't come?' as I stood there, simply gazing at the sunset.

There are outdoor table seats, where we sat, and indoor air-conditioned seating.
Perhaps because it's a locally recommended gem,
there were a lot of locals there.
Cheers with a Bud Light, Saipan style~
We came for dinner, aiming for a satisfying meal,
so we ordered four dishes. However, as you can see, the portions aren't super huge, haha,
so you'll probably want to order a steak or pasta if you're looking for that truly 'filling' feeling.
Enjoying a meal while gazing at Saipan's beautiful ocean and sunset was pure bliss.
It felt like a moment filled with peace and relaxation, truly an experience to cherish.
You absolutely *must* try the crispy tacos..!
This was my first day in Saipan,
and as I looked out at the ocean,
I remember thinking, 'Wow, I'm really here!'
The cool breeze on the terrace
was more than enough to blow away all the stress of daily life.
They offer a wide variety of drinks, from beers and cocktails
to other alcoholic beverages.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and gave detailed explanations
of the menu.
The breathtaking scene of the ocean's azure hues
blending with the orange glow of the sunset is truly unforgettable.
Olea Beach Bar & Grill, Saipan's ultimate sunset view restaurant,
is just absolutely perfect!
I paid with my Travelog card,
and the total came out to about ~$54.
Considering the cost of living in Saipan,
even though I ordered a variety of items,
it didn't feel overly expensive.
So, Olea Beach Bar & Grill, Saipan's sunset view hotspot,
also offered pretty good value for money!
If you're looking for a special dining experience in Saipan,
this is also a highly recommended local gem worth visiting.
A fantastic meal with a magnificent ocean view from Saipan's beautiful beach,
along with menu items recommended by locals,
this place is sure to become a highlight of your trip!
