a little outside the Obihiro city center,

it's about a 15-minute drive,
so having a car is essential for a comfortable visit.
The parking area is incredibly spacious and pleasant,

2. A Look Inside

As soon as I stepped inside the store,
the delicious, sweet aroma of freshly baked bread wafted past my nose.
The variety of breads was so impressive that
I found myself holding a tray and deliberating for quite a while!

They say this place uses 100% Tokachi-grown wheat for their bread,
and compared to current prices elsewhere,
the bread here is genuinely affordable and reasonably priced.
This meant I could fill my tray without any guilt!

From crispy Tokachi-gyu curry bread
to sweet melon pan, red bean buns, and chestnut ciabatta –
savory meal breads to delightful dessert breads –
the selection is so abundant it's a feast for the eyes.

If you're staying to eat,
it's lovely to enjoy your bread with a warm clam chowder soup
or some rich, creamy milk.

We chose milk,
and my mother-in-law wanted something warm,
so she ordered clam chowder.
It was a truly satisfying choice!

For each purchase,
they give you a cup for drinks,
and you can use it to enjoy tea or coffee.

After picking your bread and putting it in a basket, you head to the register.
When you place your basket like this,
it actually recognizes the bread and calculates the total automatically!
Isn't that absolutely fascinating?
Of course, a staff member double-checks everything,
so you don't have to worry about any mistakes.

If you decide to dine in,
just let them know you'll be eating there before paying,
then you can take your basket and head to the table seating on one side of the store.
It's that simple!

There are plastic bags available for packing up any leftover bread,
and directly opposite, you'll find toasters
to lightly warm up your bread for an even more delicious experience.
We only warmed up the bread we were going to eat right away – it was perfect!

While you get one complimentary drink with your purchase,
if you need additional drinks,
you can pay 100 yen and get another cup.
However, water is available for free,
and since you're in Hokkaido, we thought it would be even more delicious
to pair our bread with some of Hokkaido's incredible milk.
So, we simply bought a variety of different milks to enjoy!
3. Exploring the Outdoors

Step outside the store,
and you'll be greeted by a lush, expansive lawn,
along with plenty of outdoor tables and bench seating scattered throughout.

The outdoor garden area is actually much larger than the indoor seating,
and with such beautiful weather,
most people were enjoying their treats outside.
We decided to eat inside first, and then took a lovely stroll around the grounds.

It's more than just a place to grab some delicious bread;
the ability to take a leisurely walk and explore the surroundings
is something my parents absolutely loved.
It's truly the perfect spot for seniors or families to visit,
and being a weekend morning, most of the visitors were families.
4. A Must-Visit if You Have Kids!

What truly made this place feel special
was the ranch area tucked away on one side of the property,
where you can actually meet horses!

You can even observe Hokkaido's native
'Dosanko horses' up close!
If your timing is just right,
you won't just get to admire these adorable horses right before your eyes;
you'll even have the chance to touch them
and truly connect!
When the horses are out for a stroll,
the staff might even invite you with a friendly, “You can gently touch their forehead!”

If you're traveling with little ones,
I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!
It's a fantastic opportunity to create fun, unforgettable memories
for them.
