Discover Natra Bintan, a unique glamping resort on Indonesia's Bintan Island, near Singapore. Experience luxury tents and Southeast Asia's largest man-made lagoon pool!

If you search for Bintan resorts,
there's a place that always pops up at the top of the list.
That's right, it's Natra Bintan.
The idea of spending a night in a luxury glamping tent, rather than a typical hotel,
was what drew me in from the very beginning.

🚌 1. Warm Welcome from Check-in
When you arrive at the Bintan Ferry Terminal,
you'll immediately spot the Natra Bintan private waiting lounge.
Just confirm your reservation name with a staff member and wait.
A shuttle bus will arrive to take you comfortably to the resort!
Throughout the check-in process, the staff members were
so incredibly friendly, which put me in a great mood right from the start of the trip 😊
Inside the resort, you get around by buggy car.
They come right away when you call, which was super convenient.
2. Glamping Tent? No Worries Here!

Honestly, at first, I was a little worried.
"Wouldn't a tent be uncomfortable?"
"Would the air conditioning really work?"
But once I stepped inside, all those fears were completely unfounded.
Plush king-size bed ✅
Powerful air conditioning ✅
A small patio outside the tent ✅
In the evening, sitting on the patio chairs,
it's absolutely perfect for enjoying a cold beer and stargazing. 🍺🌟

And the bathroom is genuinely beautiful too.
The shower area is open to the sky,
giving you the feeling of showering outdoors,
but the walls are high, so there's absolutely no discomfort!
Since I was in Indonesia, I bought plenty of mangoes + mangosteens
and enjoyed them on the patio.
And let me tell you, they tasted absolutely divine 😋
3. The Crystal Lagoon Pool: Seriously Epic Scale!

Here's the real reason I chose Natra Bintan.
The largest man-made saltwater lagoon in Southeast Asia
That's right, it's the Crystal Lagoon!
Honestly, even when I saw pictures, I thought, "Wow, that's huge!"
But seeing it in person? It's even more impressive.
No exaggeration, it's the size of a small lake.
I swam from one end of the lagoon to the other, and by the time I tried to swim back, I was so exhausted 😂
I even had to ask a passing buggy driver
to give me a ride back ㅋㅋㅋ

Guests can enjoy free access,
and there are also paid activities like kayaking and paddleboarding.
We practically lived in the water for half a day!
💡 Travel Tip! Make sure to pack instant noodles and snacks in advance.
There's no convenience store inside the resort,
and you'd need a taxi to go out and buy things, so it's best to bring them with you.
4. Don't Miss Out on Breakfast!

It's actually quite a hassle to leave the resort for outside restaurants.
That's why starting your day with a hearty breakfast
is the best choice!
Served buffet-style at The Patio Restaurant,
the variety of dishes is truly amazing.
Indonesian local dishes (like Mie Goreng, Nasi Lemak, etc.)
Freshly made omelets 🍳 pho noodles, Western style options
We started each day most eagerly anticipating breakfast 😊
With one breakfast, you can cover both breakfast + lunch,
and spending the afternoon at the pool is just perfect.
In the evenings, The Patio even hosts classical performances!
Restaurant Price Guide
Dinner menu items are typically around ~$10 to ~$17 per person.
While a bit pricey for a resort restaurant, the delicious food made it completely worth it.
5. Poolside Cocktail Bar + EDM Party!
Right next to the pool, there's a bar.
The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful, perfect for a refreshing cocktail during the day,
But then in the evening, suddenly... the EDM started pumping! 🎵
It's like magic how it instantly transforms into a club, haha!
It's a shared space with nearby resorts, so it's quite sizable,
and you can really feel the party vibe.
You might worry about noise, but you can barely hear anything from inside your room, so it won't disturb your good night's sleep 😴
6. Massage
If you want to unwind from travel fatigue, a massage is a must-have!
If you request it at the resort, they'll connect you with an external massage shop.
They even provide bus transport.
The price was around ~$26, which was very reasonable 👍
