1. Location of The House of Dancing Water Show in Macau & How to Get There by Shuttle Bus
The House of Dancing Water show theater in Macau is located
inside the City of Dreams in the Cotai Strip.
It's near The Venetian, The Londoner, and The Parisian, making it perfect to combine with your Cotai itinerary.
📍 The House of Dancing Water
Estr. do Istmo, City of Dreams, Macau
📍 The Londoner Hotel
4HW7+PV, Macau
📍 The Venetian Macao Casino
Estrada da Baía de N, Macau
I stayed near the Sands Hotel in northern Macau,
so I traveled by free shuttle bus.
The route I recommend most is
taking The Londoner shuttle and getting off there.
If you find the right exit, The Londoner and City of Dreams are directly connected.

However, the internal routes were really confusing.
Once you get off the shuttle, ask a staff member for
“the closest exit to the City of Dreams theater.”
This one phrase can save you 20 minutes!
If asking feels a bit daunting,
I recommend taking The Venetian shuttle instead!

You can walk outside after getting off!
Just make sure to walk outside while keeping the building in sight, as going inside can make it more confusing.
Also, to make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before the show starts,
it's a good idea to factor in a generous buffer, like getting off at The Venetian around 30 minutes before the show.

2. What's the Splash Zone Like at The House of Dancing Water Show in Macau?
To get straight to the point, I highly recommend the Splash Zone!
Raincoats are provided for free, so you don't get as wet as you might think.

However, both Row A and Row B are part of the Splash Zone.
Row A tends to get quite a bit of splash,
while in Row B, you only get a slight splash when the performers intentionally throw water.

I was lucky enough to be in Row B,
and it was so much fun, getting just the right amount of spray.
It truly made me feel like I was experiencing a real water show!

The only downside is that you can't directly choose between Row A and Row B.
However, considering the value for money, it was definitely worth it.
Even if I go again, I'll definitely book the Splash Zone!
3. Macau Water Show Seating Recommendations for Every Situation
Choosing seats for the Macau Water Show is easy if you decide based on these 3 criteria:

If you don't mind getting wet, go for the Splash Zone
It offers the best immersive experience, and you can clearly see the performers' expressions.
It's also affordable and lets you watch from the very front row,
so I truly recommend you don't miss out on it!
If you absolutely hate getting wet, choose Row C or further back

You can enjoy the full scale of the stage without the stress of getting wet!
If you opt out of the splash zone,
you'll automatically be assigned seats from row C and back.
If value for money is key, even the most affordable seats are a fantastic choice!
Since this show features a 360-degree stage, I found that even the seats further back offered surprisingly good views!
Just a heads-up: while you can pick your section,
you can't choose your specific seat number for The House of Dancing Water in Macau!
It's all automatically assigned!
Want to sit closer to the action?

If your show date is still more than a month away,
it's best to snap up those cheaper seats early.
But if the date is getting close,
it's safer to go for Signature seats or higher to guarantee a good spot.
I booked mine two months ahead and snagged tickets for the most affordable Gallery section;
I was assigned seats B701 and B702, which are pretty great spots within the splash zone!

it's super important to check the final price *after* applying any coupons.

★★KKday ★★ | ~$64 + free ~$7 Godiva voucher + as low as ~$48 with extra discount coupons! |
Klook | ~$68 |
To be honest, I usually don't prefer KKday because it's not always the easiest to book through,
so it's not usually my top choice.
But this time, their discounts were absolutely unparalleled!

Not only was the Macau show price incredibly low,
they were also giving away a Godiva ~$7 voucher!

Just a heads-up: this is a limited-time, limited-quantity offer,
and you need to book a minimum of two tickets, so plan accordingly!
If you're planning to see the Macau show,
especially if you're combining it with a trip to Hong Kong,
then tickets that include a one-way ferry to Macau are an absolute steal!

A one-way ferry ticket typically costs ~$21.
So, for a set of Macau show tickets + one-way ferry tickets for two people, you can also apply an additional
~$8 discount coupon!
That brings the final price down to ~$154.

By utilizing promotions from KKday, applying additional discount coupons, and a Shinhan Card 5% cashback, you can book it for as low as ~$48. Also, if you apply an ~$8 discount coupon to a 2-person set package that includes a one-way ferry ticket to Macau, you can watch the show for around ~$48 per person.
Row A in the Splash Zone tends to get quite wet, while row B only gets a little wet when the performers intentionally splash water. Raincoats are provided for free, but there is a difference in the extent of the splash.
Taking The Londoner shuttle and getting off there is the most recommended route. After getting off the shuttle, if you ask a staff member for “the nearest exit to The City of Dreams theater,” you can save about 20 minutes.
If you don't mind getting wet, the Splash Zone offers the best immersion and allows you to see the performers' expressions well, providing high satisfaction for the price. If value for money is important, even the cheapest seats are fine, and due to the 360-degree stage, the back seats are also worth watching.
If the show date is more than a month away, booking cheaper seats early increases the chance of being assigned seats closer to the front and center. Since seat numbers are automatically assigned, booking early is advantageous for securing good seats.
