The Venetian Macao Review 2026: Family Suites & Pools

With short flight times and excellent 5-star hotel quality,

Macau is an incredible destination for family trips !

I'll be sharing my review of our stay at The Venetian Macao,

the iconic choice for family accommodation in Macau.

We'll cover **rooms, swimming pools, room service, and shuttle bus schedules**

in detail.

1. Why We Love The Venetian Macao

First off, its location right in the heart of the Cotai Strip means it's incredibly convenient

for **sightseeing and exploring**.

Inside The Venetian's incredible shopping mall,

you'll find **famous eateries like North (북방관) and Lord Stow's Bakery**,

making it super convenient for families to enjoy delicious meals without ever leaving the resort!

2. The Bella Deluxe Suite: Our Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay in the **Bella Deluxe Suite**!

This room can accommodate a maximum of **3 adults or**

**2 adults + 2 children**.

With it being a suite, the room and beds are incredibly spacious,

making it an absolutely perfect choice for a family getaway !

The bathroom was also incredibly spacious and meticulously maintained.

With **two sinks**, getting ready as a family was a breeze,

and the **bathtub and shower were thoughtfully separated**.

Plus, a separate vanity area made getting ready, especially drying hair, super convenient.

Even as a 5-star hotel, The Venetian Macao still boasts incredible

**value, with prices often around ~$148 per night**.

Macau sees a significant influx of Chinese visitors utilizing its casinos on weekends,

so accommodation costs can double during that time.

If possible, we highly recommend planning your stay on weekdays.

3. A Closer Look at Our Suite

The room size was 70m², so it was incredibly spacious,

and perhaps because it's a 5-star hotel, the bedding quality was truly superb.

The soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep like a baby.👍🏻

The bathroom was also incredibly spacious and well-separated,

which made getting ready in the morning with my travel companions so convenient.

For amenities, they provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner,

and hand wash.

As for disposable items, there was toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, combs, sewing kits,

and even body lotion.

The hair dryer allowed for precise adjustment of both temperature and airflow,

so I used it comfortably throughout my 2-night stay.👏🏻

When heading to the pool, you can just grab a bathrobe from the closet,

and the slippers were so plush, it felt a shame to only wear them once!

By the way, they provide a very generous amount of bottled water! 😲

They gave us 2 bottles at check-in,

another 4 bottles were already in the room,

and they refilled with 4 more bottles the next day !

Rooms at The Venetian Hotel are divided into SOUTH rooms and

WEST rooms.

Since the shuttle bus stop is located at the WEST Lobby,

it's a good idea to request a room close to the WEST Lobby

when you check in.

(I was assigned a SOUTH room on the 28th floor,

but it was close to the elevator and entrance, so I walked significantly less.)

4. Room Service & Facilities

I didn't add breakfast separately;

instead, I mostly ordered room service in the mornings.

It was super convenient to grab a meal via room service after a swim!

I highly recommend it because the price was surprisingly reasonable compared to regular breakfast options.

They even gave complimentary pre-meal bread.

📌 The Venetian Hotel Swimming Pool

Location: 5th Floor

Operating Hours: 8 AM ~ 8 PM

I used it on the morning of my checkout day,

and it was wonderfully uncrowded, which I loved!

Body towels are also provided, so you can just wear your swimsuit and a bathrobe from your room

and head straight there.

There was also a kids' café-like space for children,

and since it's on the same floor as the pool, if you plan to use it,

please refer to the information above! (QUBE)

5. The Venetian Hotel Shuttle

The Venetian Hotel shuttle operates from the WEST Lobby,

running from 8:10 AM

until 11:35 PM.

(It only operates from the Main Lobby when going to the Taipa Ferry Terminal)

Since there are so many hotel guests,

it runs continuously with short intervals.

(At the airport or ferry terminal,

look for the SHUTTLE sign and proceed,

then find the VENETIAN BUS.)

📌 Shuttle Timetable

I mainly used the shuttles heading to Macau International Airport,

near Senado Square,

and the Taipa Ferry Terminal.

(The rest are primarily used by Chinese visitors

when crossing the border.)

By the way, taxi fares in Macau aren't that expensive.

Because it's a well-known Macau hotel,

there were always taxis waiting at the taxi stand.

Since I traveled with my mom, we took taxis occasionally!

It's close to The House of Dancing Water and the COD building,

so it was great to walk there to catch a show.

One evening, we visited North Palace for dinner,

did some shopping at the mall, and then came straight back to the room, which was so convenient!!

The location, price, and rooms were all to my liking,

so I genuinely recommend this Macau hotel. 👍🏻
