You'll find the Mosaic Ferris Wheel nestled on the southwest side of Kobe Harborland, just a short walk to the right as you exit the Mosaic Mall.
Getting here is a breeze! From JR Kobe Station, it's about a 10 to 15-minute leisurely stroll to the Ferris Wheel.
The Mosaic Ferris Wheel operates daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The standard fare for adults is around ~$5 USD.

While you can pay the ~$5 USD fare to ride, if you're traveling with a Kansai Joy Pass, you're in luck – the ride is complimentary! It's an excellent perk for pass holders.

From boarding to disembarking, the Mosaic Ferris Wheel experience lasts approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
I was eager to see Kobe Port and its surroundings from a unique vantage point high above. While the views were incredible, I must admit, capturing perfect photos from inside the gondola proved a bit challenging. The cabin's interior can be dim, and reflections on the glass made for some tricky shots, which was a slight bummer for my photography aspirations.

During my visit to Kobe, I was treated to an unexpected sight from the Ferris Wheel: a stunning display of supercars lined up, as seen in the photo above. It looked like some sort of special event was taking place!
Many people were snapping photos, and I even saw drones capturing aerial footage – it was quite a spectacle. I don't know much about car models, but seeing these identical, sleek vehicles in different colors was incredibly cool! :D

Wrapping up my day of exploration in Kobe with the magnificent night views from the Mosaic Ferris Wheel was certainly a memorable way to conclude the trip.
Right next to the Ferris Wheel, there's a strikingly unique hotel that really caught my eye. Its distinctive architecture adds another layer of charm to the Harborland skyline! :D

From the Kobe Mosaic Ferris Wheel, the iconic Kobe Port Tower also presented a spectacular night view. There was another intriguing, uniquely shaped structure nearby that I couldn't quite identify, which left me a little curious!

The Kobe Mosaic Ferris Wheel truly stands out as a prime spot to take in the entire expanse of Kobe Port. If admiring stunning nightscapes is on your agenda, I highly recommend adding a ride on this Ferris Wheel to your itinerary.
Just a friendly heads-up: while the views are incredible, capturing perfect photos can be a bit challenging due to glass reflections and lighting inside the gondola, so set your expectations accordingly.
If you find yourself with some extra time during your Kobe trip, consider stopping by Mosaic Mall for dinner before hopping on the Ferris Wheel to enjoy those magnificent night views. It's a fantastic way to experience the city's charm!
