Considering that 5-star hotel buffets in Korea easily cost

around ~$115 to ~$141 per person,

you can enjoy an even more lavish spread here for almost half the price!

So when planning my trip to Macau, I knew a hotel buffet was a must-do,

but with so many options, I had a hard time deciding where to go.

Whenever I searched for Macau buffet recommendations, there was one place that always popped up thanks to its incredible lobster...

and that was the JW Marriott Urban Kitchen! 🦞

Having been there myself, I can confidently say it ticked all the boxes—

value for money, menu variety, taste, and atmosphere! 🤍

Along with my honest review, I’ve put together everything you need to know, from lunch and dinner prices

to how to book with a discount code.

01. Location, Opening Hours & Basic Info

It's located right inside the Galaxy Macau integrated resort complex.

It's only about a 3 to 5-minute drive from Macau International Airport,

and since there are free hotel shuttle buses running from the ferry terminals, the accessibility is top-notch.

From the Ground (G) floor lobby, head up to the 1st floor

via the elevator or stairs, and you'll find Urban Kitchen right there.

02. Lunch Menu & Prices

I couldn't make it for lunch myself 😭, but for those planning to visit,

I've put together a price comparison of the latest rates I looked up!​

When I compared the prices myself, Klook was definitely the cheapest.

Since most people visit hotel buffets with family or partners,

the savings really add up as your group gets larger.

03. Dinner Buffet Menu & Price Comparison

⚠️ Please note that due to local food safety concerns in Macau starting February 7, 2026,

the serving of raw oysters has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

​

As expected, Klook was also the cheapest for dinner!

Weekend dinner times are super popular,

so if you just show up on the day of, there's a good chance they'll be fully booked.

By booking your ticket in advance, all you have to do is show your voucher,

which makes entry incredibly smooth and convenient!

Plus, while most buffets require a minimum of 2 people for reservations

and other booking sites only let you book in even numbers,

Klook allows you to add a single person, which is a huge plus!

We also had an odd-numbered group, and Klook was the only platform that let us add just one extra person.

04. My Honest Review

I opted for the Urban Kitchen dinner buffet.

Right as I walked in, I noticed how spacious the food stations were,

which let me browse and pick my food comfortably without feeling crowded.

Each station has its own dedicated chef,

preparing dishes right on the spot so the food is always served hot and fresh.

The first place I ran to was the seafood station.

The lobster was incredibly meaty, and all the other seafood options

were prepared so cleanly without any fishy odor.

Especially the salmon here—it was seriously to die for..🤍

The sushi station offered a great variety of options,

and the salads were incredibly fresh and crisp!

I was super excited to try the Peking Duck, which they roast over lychee wood.

It definitely lived up to the hype—the skin was thin and crispy,

while the meat inside remained incredibly juicy!

The steak station featured both lamb and beef,

and they were so tender and perfectly cooked, with absolutely zero gamey smell.

Of course, you can't leave without dessert!

And true to being in Macau, they had Portuguese egg tarts waiting for us.

They also had an ice cream machine,

and all the cakes—from the rich mousse cakes

to the cute mini cakes—were absolutely delicious!

We wrapped things up with a cup of freshly brewed milk tea and

coffee made right on the spot! ☕️

After eating to our hearts' content and enjoying the absolute perfect desserts,

if I visit Macau again, I'll definitely be back at the JW Marriott... 🤍
