Step back in time at Jeonju Nanjang, a retro museum in Jeonju Hanok Village showcasing 70,000 vintage props from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Hey guys, it's EunSusu!
While traveling through Jeonju Hanok Village, there was one spot
that everyone said I absolutely had to visit, so I decided to check it out.
And that place is none other than Jeonju Nanjang!
If you're a fan of retro, vintage vibes,
this place is going to absolutely steal your heart.
Here is my honest, fully self-funded review!

What is Jeonju Nanjang?
Jeonju Nanjang is so much more than just a regular museum.
It's an immersive, theme-park-style museum showcasing over 70,000 vintage items
collected by a single individual over 25 years, bringing the nostalgic alleyways
of Korea from the 1960s to the 1980s completely back to life.
With around 80 different themed zones,
covering childhood memories, "mom's era," youth and love, the Promise Dabang (retro cafe), military days, a vintage train station, downtown shops, and even a traditional market,
you'll completely lose track of time wandering through these memory-filled alleys.

Exterior / Vibes
Jeonju Nanjang is nestled right inside the Hanok Village,
but if it's your first time visiting, finding the entrance
might be a little tricky.
The part you see right by the main street is actually the exit,
and you have to head down the alleyway to find the actual entrance.
I walked right past it at first, too!
So make sure you head into the alley to find the way in!

Interior / Atmosphere
The moment you step inside, the entire vibe
completely shifts.
It honestly feels like you've hopped into a time machine
and traveled decades back into the past.

From old-school classrooms and traditional tea houses to rustic alleyways,
every single prop is preserved exactly as it was back in the day.
Older generations will find themselves swimming in nostalgia, while younger visitors
will be wide-eyed with curiosity and wonder.
