Jeju Air Flight Review 2026: Baggage, Seats, & Tips
Curious about flying Jeju Air to Cebu? This 2026 review covers everything you need to know about baggage, seat comfort, and what to expect on board.
For my recent trip to Cebu, I flew with Jeju Air, and I wanted to share my experience, including details about their baggage policy and seating.
I snagged a fantastic special fare, which surprisingly included checked baggage. This was a huge plus, as it meant I could pack without worrying about exceeding weight limits – a rare luxury for an LCC!
As expected with a low-cost carrier (LCC), there were no personal entertainment screens or complimentary in-flight meals. What surprised me a little was the absence of USB charging ports; some LCCs have started to include them.

It was a rather rainy day with some turbulent weather, so the flight was a bit bumpy. However, aside from that, the overall experience was perfectly fine.
Since I flew Jeju Air for both my outbound and return journeys, I'll be combining my observations from both flights here.
Jeju Air Seat Pitch and Amenities

While the seats didn't appear particularly spacious, I didn't experience any significant discomfort during the flight.
Again, as an LCC, there were no individual entertainment screens. And as mentioned, no USB charging ports either – so no need to dig out that charging cable from your bag!
Cabin Temperature and Air Conditioning

When the overhead air vent was turned on full blast, there was a slight whirring noise. However, with the general hum of the aircraft (likely the engines), it wasn't a bothersome sound at all.
The cabin temperature was just right – not too chilly, not too warm. I'd estimate it was a comfortable 72-74°F.
I actually remember one time flying to Jeju Island years ago when it was so cold that I ended up buying a blanket on board! Fun fact: I still have that Jeju Air blanket at home. It's a nice souvenir!
In-Flight Meals and Snacks
Being a budget airline, complimentary in-flight meals aren't offered on Jeju Air. If you're looking for something more substantial, you have the option to pre-purchase a meal online before your flight.
However, I rarely saw anyone actually eating a pre-ordered meal.

What *was* incredibly popular was the "Jeju Air Cafe" service, offering a variety of snacks and drinks. I noticed a surprisingly large number of passengers ordering from it.
The cart could barely move down the aisle because there were so many orders! It felt like almost every other row was making a purchase.
I almost got swept up in the excitement and bought something myself, but I managed to resist! Haha.
Jeju Air Baggage Allowance

For this trip, I had a checked baggage allowance of ~33 lbs (15kg) and a carry-on allowance of ~22 lbs (10kg). This gave me plenty of room to pack without stress.
It was quite unusual for a special fare, but my ticket included the "FlyBag" baggage standard from Jeju Air. Typically, special fares only come with the "Fly" standard, which means no checked baggage included.
Restrooms

Finally, a quick look at the restrooms. They were compact, as expected on an aircraft, with enough space for one person and equipped with hand soap.

The city lights below were so vibrant and beautiful, I initially thought this photo was taken upon arrival at Incheon Airport. But looking closer, it's actually Cebu! What a stunning night view.
That wraps up my review of flying Jeju Air to and from Cebu, covering everything from baggage to seating. Next time, I'm hoping to try a direct flight to Bohol!
