My sibling and I recently took a 2-night, 3-day trip to Jecheon (제천).
While preparing for our Jecheon trip,
I looked for accommodations near Jecheon Station (제천역).
Initially, I planned to book Hound Hotel (하운드 호텔) near Jecheon Station.
But for this trip, my sibling paid first,
and I was going to send them the money later.
My sibling looked into accommodations and told me
that ING Hotel (ING 호텔) was ₩10,000 (~$8) cheaper.
It looked fine in the pictures,
so I just told them to go ahead and book it.
And they really booked this place, LOL!
So, I'll be sharing my review of
Jecheon ING Hotel, where we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.
Jecheon ING Hotel Location | 5-7 Minute Walk from Jecheon Station
One of the best things about Jecheon ING Hotel was
how incredibly close it is to the station.
If you walk from Jecheon Station,
it takes about 5 to 7 minutes.
If you catch the crosswalk signals right,
it's even possible to get there in just 5 minutes!

We also used Socar (쏘카) for this trip,
and the Socar zone was also about
a 5-7 minute walk from the accommodation.
This made it super convenient when picking up or returning the car.
There were also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
With a market close by,
it was a great location for dining out in downtown Jecheon
or picking up any essentials.
Especially for those traveling to Jecheon via KTX,
its proximity to the station is definitely a huge plus!
The Parking Lot is Also Quite Spacious
Since we used a rental car in Jecheon,
parking space was also an important consideration.
ING Hotel has a parking lot on the first floor of the building.
Right next to it, there was also a spacious area
where we could park our car.

When we visited,
we felt that the parking space was quite ample.
Jecheon's attractions are somewhat spread out,
so many travelers likely use cars.
It seems like a good accommodation option for those visiting
with a rental car or their own vehicle.

Checkout is at 12 PM
We spent the whole day sightseeing
and arrived at our accommodation late in the evening.
That's why I took the room photos at night.
Now that I'm writing this blog post,
I realize I took the photos quite haphazardly, LOL!
I was just too tired back then
to capture many good shots.

Anyway, after checking in, we found out
that checkout here is at 12 PM.
Many accommodations usually have an 11 AM checkout,
so having an extra hour of leisure was a definite plus.
It meant we could get ready without rushing in the morning.
Inside the Jecheon ING Hotel Room
Upon entering the room,
the first thing that caught my eye was the inner door.
Having an extra door at the room entrance
makes me think it helps reduce hallway noise.

Past the inner door, you'll find
the bed, a table, and chairs.
The room is quite spacious,
so it didn't feel cramped even with two people.
On both sides of the bed,
there was space to place belongings.
It was convenient for each of us to put our phones or water glasses.

Some accommodations only have a bedside table on one side,
but it was great that we could use both sides here.
The room also had a small table and chairs,
plus a separate long desk.
So, the fact that two people could divide and use their own space
was another thing I liked.
Rooms with a Styler
One of the surprising things upon entering the room
was the **Styler**.
It was the first time we had stayed in an accommodation
that had a Styler.

For clothes worn during travel,
when they needed refreshing or care,
it was great to be able to use this.
When I got home and looked it up, I found out it was a Styler Room!
Depending on the date, it seems to cost around ₩75,000 (~$56) to ₩90,000 (~$68).

Next to the Styler, there was also a small storage space.
When I opened it, I found a hairdryer, an electric kettle,
and several other items ready for use.

Beyond the hairdryer,
we didn't really have much need for anything else, haha.
Still, it was convenient that all the necessary items
were readily available right in the room.
A Wide Range of Amenities is Also Provided
On one side of the room,
there was a vanity table and a large mirror.
On top, tissues, towels,
and amenities were laid out.
Four towels were provided,
and inside a small box, there were toothbrushes, toothpaste,
foam cleanser, toner, lotion, hair wax, and other products.

Even if you happened to forget your toothbrush,
in the room we stayed in,
there was no need to buy one separately.
We stayed for two nights and three days,
and on the next day, they replenished the necessary items for us.
Spacious Bathroom with a Bathtub
The bathroom was also quite spacious.
There was a toilet with a bidet and a washbasin,
and on one side, there was a bathtub.
For showers, both a standard handheld showerhead
and a rain showerhead were available.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were also provided.
Overall, it gave the impression
of being immaculately maintained.
I really should have taken more photos of the bathroom,
I regret it now, haha.
My Favorite Spot: The Desk (Vanity) Area
Honestly, during this trip to Jecheon,
I used my laptop so much at the accommodation that I wasn't sure if I was on vacation or a business trip!
There was so much to do
that even after sightseeing,
I kept sitting in front of my computer.
But at ING Hotel,
the vanity-desk area was separate from the bed,
which I really loved.

My sibling watched TV from the bed,
while I sat at the desk and worked on my laptop.
Since the desk wasn't directly facing the TV,
my gaze didn't keep wandering to it.
Thanks to that, it was easy to focus on my work.
Of course, not many people would come all the way to Jecheon
and keep working like I did, haha.
For this trip,
I needed time to work even after returning to the accommodation,
so I particularly liked this room layout.
The desk was spacious and the mirror was large,
making it suitable not only for laptop work
but also for use as a vanity.
Moreover, there were several tables in the room,
allowing my sibling and I to each use our preferred spaces
separately.
The fact that the person relaxing on the bed
and the person working at the desk
could use different areas
was the biggest advantage for me.
Wi-Fi and Other Conveniences
After using it myself at ING Hotel,
I found the Wi-Fi speed to be quite good.
I had a lot of laptop work to do,
and I didn't experience any major inconvenience while using the internet.
According to the hotel's information guide,
you can also borrow phone chargers and curling irons.
If you happen to forget them,
it would be a good idea to inquire at the front desk.

Also, on the first floor, there were free washing machines and dryers.
I didn't use them myself,
but when I went down for breakfast the next day,
I saw other guests doing their laundry.
I tried to pack light for the trip,
so I didn't bring many clothes.
If I had known about these facilities beforehand,
I thought it would have been helpful when packing too.
Especially for travelers staying multiple days,
I think it would be a useful facility.
The complimentary laundry and drying facilities and breakfast
I'll introduce in more detail in the next post.
A Jecheon (제천) Hotel Opened in April 2026
I learned this while staying there,
ING Hotel (ING 호텔) reportedly opened in April 2026.
I heard this from the owner while having breakfast.
Perhaps that's why the rooms and bathrooms
gave me an overall impression of being very clean.
When I visited,
there were many guests who seemed to be travelers,
and I even saw foreign guests.
The owner was also very kind and accommodating.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay near Jecheon Station (제천역)
At first, I was going to book Hound Hotel (하운드 호텔),
but my sibling said ING Hotel was ₩10,000 (~$8) cheaper
and chose ING Hotel.
Ultimately, we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days
without any inconvenience.
It's about a 5-7 minute walk from Jecheon Station,
and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The room was spacious, had a clothes styler and a bathtub,
and check-out was at 12 PM, which gave us plenty of time.
What I particularly liked was the separate space
where I could work on my laptop.

If you're looking for an affordable yet spacious accommodation near Jecheon Station,
you might want to compare ING Hotel too.
Accommodation rates can vary depending on the date and room type,
so it's a good idea to check before booking.
