With affordable flights, I bet many of you are planning a trip to
Dalian, China!
But you wouldn't want to book cheap flights only to
splurge on expensive accommodation, right?
Today, I'll introduce you to Ibis Styles Hotel Dalian Railway Station,
an accommodation in Dalian city center that boasts a fantastic location
and incredibly reasonable prices!

Ibis Styles Hotel is a chain hotel belonging to the global Accor brand,
conveniently located in the heart of Dalian city.
Room types include Double, King, and Suites,
suitable for 2-3 guests.
This makes it perfect for a romantic getaway with your partner
or a trip with your parents.
Despite these amenities, the accommodation cost, starting from ~$41 on weekdays,
and ~$48 on weekends, is very affordable.
Plus, the generous check-in/check-out times mean you can
leisurely enjoy your time at the hotel.
I've given you a brief overview of the hotel. Now,
let's dive into its location and the fantastic advantages
it offers in detail!
1. Prime Hotel Location
Its biggest advantage is undoubtedly its hotel location.
As you can see from the map above, major downtown
shopping malls like Pavilion and Dalian Shangchang
are all clustered around the hotel.
Most of the highly-rated restaurants and popular shopping spots
you'll find online are located here, making your trip incredibly convenient.
What's more, a downtown night market is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel,
perfect for late-night snacks!
I personally found it incredibly convenient throughout my trip,
never worrying about finding great food or shopping.
2. Hotel Amenities
Next, let's talk about the excellent in-hotel amenities.
Firstly, you can store your luggage in the lobby both before and after check-in,
and it was quite fun to see a service robot,
which is becoming a signature feature in many Chinese hotels!
The lobby floor also featured a small gym, and...
They even had exercise equipment, a washing machine, and a massage chair!
It was great for a quick workout every morning,
and with a washing machine available, those
staying for longer periods won't have any trouble with laundry.
3. Discount Snack Shop on the 1st Floor of the Hotel
Another unexpected perk was the surprisingly
well-stocked discount snack shop on the 1st floor of the hotel.
Snacks, drinks, and beer were incredibly affordable,
making it perfect for late-night munchies or souvenir shopping.
(I even bought all my souvenirs here!)

Next, I'll tell you all about the hotel check-in process
and my experience staying in the Loft King Room.
The Ibis Styles Dalian has a unique structure, with the lobby on the 11th floor and guest rooms located on floors 8 to 10.
After arriving at the hotel building, we first headed up to the 11th floor for check-in.
The lobby was quite spacious and vibrantly colored,
and it was immaculately maintained overall.
Plus, there were candies and tea at the check-in counter,
which was a nice touch to refresh myself while waiting.
However, the staff didn't speak English very well.
Still, since many Koreans visit this hotel, they made a diligent effort
to communicate using translation apps and other means, so we had no trouble checking in.
I was assigned Loft King Room 1042.
The room door opened by scanning a card.
As soon as I opened the room door, I was pleasantly surprised by the bright ambiance and the incredibly spacious room size.
The entrance was also wide, with plenty of extra space,
enough to unpack several large suitcases.
What was unique was that the room had a duplex structure, and
On the first floor, there was a toilet, a sink, a bathtub, and a living room,
and on the second floor, a bedroom, a shower room, and a toilet.
The sink on the first floor had a mirror with built-in lighting,
so I could use it quietly even at night,
and the toilet area felt luxurious with its tiled interior.
What was really unique was having a bathtub in the living room on the first floor.
It was an open-concept design, making it feel like an outdoor hot spring.
I loved the sensation of my upper body feeling cool while my lower body stayed warm.
Warming up in the tub while watching a movie in the evening
made it feel like a true hotel getaway, which I absolutely loved.
Heading up to the second floor of the room, you'll immediately find the bedroom,
where there was a large king-sized bed.
The bed was incredibly plush, perfect for a deep, sweet sleep,
and having chargers and switches right by the bedside was super convenient.
Inside the bedroom area, you'll find a toilet, a shower room, and a sink.
The entire space was decorated with large tiles,
giving it the luxurious feel of a high-end hotel or resort.
All the bathroom amenities were here,
including toothbrushes, toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer,
and all the other basic essentials.
The toilet and shower room were separated,
and the shower room had body wash and shampoo.
Just a heads-up, the conditioner wasn't in the shower room but located on the first floor,
next to the bathtub.
Since all the amenities were fully stocked,
I didn't even need to use the personal items I'd packed.
If you're not particular about specific brands,
you could literally just bring yourself and have a super comfortable stay!
Today, I wanted to share about the hotel I stayed at during my Dalian trip:
the ibis Styles Dalian Station Hotel.
Even though the accommodation cost was super affordable, around ~$41,
its great location and excellent room quality meant
it was a hotel I was incredibly satisfied with.
Especially with its duplex structure and generally luxurious ambiance,
I think it would be a fantastic choice for a family trip with parents, or for couples,
everyone would be satisfied.
