I just spent two nights at the Hyatt Regency.
Let me tell you all about our stay in the 1 King Bed Ocean Room.

Basic Information, GoH (Guest of Honor)

• Check-out: 12:00 PM
• Price: From ~$200s per night
• Facilities: Swimming pool, gym, club lounge, etc.
We arrived in Phuket around lunchtime, flying with Malaysia Airlines!
We managed an early check-in at 12:00 PM.
We had booked a 1 King Bed Room,
but thanks to a GOH (Guest of Honor) benefit from a friend's acquaintance,
we received a room upgrade, club lounge access, and breakfast benefits.

This is a voucher awarded to Hyatt Globalist members upon reaching certain nights/points.
When a regular member books with this voucher,
they can enjoy the same benefits as a Globalist,
including a room upgrade and free breakfast/club lounge access.
The breakfast and club lounge at Hyatt Phuket were absolutely fantastic.

All the staff who assisted us were incredibly kind,
making for a pleasant check-in experience.
Time to head to our room via buggy!
The resort has slopes, and there's a bit of distance between buildings like the restaurants, pool, and club lounge, so a buggy is essential for getting around.
It can be a slight hassle, but they arrive almost immediately when called, which minimizes any inconvenience.
1 King Bed Ocean View (+ Club Lounge, Breakfast)
We've arrived in our room.
Our room was located further into the resort,
close to the club lounge.
Stepping in, we were immediately captivated
by the breathtaking ocean view from the terrace… 🥹
There were three of us, so
we added an extra bed.
The room was spacious enough that even with the extra bed,
it didn't feel cramped or stuffy at all.
On the table, you'll find a coffee machine and capsule coffee,
along with an information booklet.
Plus, there's a room service QR sticker on the side.
You get a generous two bottles of water per person.
The water and sparkling water on the left are subject to a charge,
but the HAYATT branded bottled water in the right cup holder is complimentary,
so keep that in mind!
The fridge is stocked with various drinks too. (Charge applies)
Bathroom
The bathroom is incredibly spacious and comfortable!
It had two entrances: one connecting directly to the room,
and another from the main entrance area,
which was really convenient.
However, there were no mirrors in the main room,
and having all three mirrors concentrated in the bathroom was a slight inconvenience.
So, by the end of our stay, we actually moved the tabletop mirror out
to use it in the main room. Haha!
The bathtub is quite spacious too
(though we didn't actually have time to use it...)
When you enter, there's a long hallway,
which is perfect for spreading out your luggage.
The wardrobe is also generously sized,
making it easy to hang up your clothes.
Ocean View Terrace
The biggest advantage of the Hyatt Regency Phuket is undoubtedly
the ocean view from the terrace!
The view here, stretching from the pool all the way to the sea,
is absolutely breathtaking,
so I highly recommend booking a room with an ocean view!
You truly have to see it to believe it! 🥹
And guess what? The ocean is right at your doorstep!
Although we didn't get a chance to use them,
there are even beach chairs operated by Hyatt right there.
The sunset views at dusk? Simply stunning 🧡

My 2-night stay was incredibly satisfying.
While Hyatt is a little distance from Patong Beach, the main tourist hub,
being about 10 minutes by taxi,
if I ever go to Phuket again, I'd absolutely choose to stay at the Hyatt!
